I don't even know what I want from a potential Direct. Maybe a Zelda collection? I know a few people have said that collection is still likely a thing. Idk

The main thing I want is just Xenoblade, FE, and a new SMT V trailer. And Splatoon 3 and Mario Party info(but I think those are guaranteed)

Nothing's being announced today, remember, in 27 hours in Japan it's a holiday.

It may be announced tomorrow morning instead, possibly a bit later than the usual 10am EDT.

I'd like Nintendo to keep their announcement spree going and have like 4 to 6 first-party games to announce, but I think that's unlikely for a September event (unless some are eShop titles launching very soon).

I think the most we can expect is like 3 or 4 new first party stuff, one for 2021 and the rest for 2022, since their lineup this year is mostly solidified

A modest proposal:

This thread switches over to its own time zone, The Nintendo Direct Time Zone, where the standard announcement time (14:00 GMT) is midnight, and the time zone does not do daylight savings.

To celebrate Doushka's 8 months today, Nintendo is gonna announce the Direct. Very nice of them.

I think we should just cancel the Nintendo Direct and have a Doushka Direct instead.

I bought the Outer Wilds on sale.

The port has been improved a lot imo. Frame rate is stable to me.
*Worlds, I'm assuming? I thought Outer Wilds wasn't out on Switch yet.

I liked The Outer Worlds quite a bit, but I played the PS4 version. It's not Obsidian's strongest RPG, but there's a lot to like in terms of writing and characters

also happy doushka day doushka

I had a dream last night that I tried to convince the thread I didn't know what a dog was

typing shit like "just because I don't know what a dog is doesn't mean you can't tell me" + "imagine knowing what a dog is in this the year of our lord 2021" + "I'm sorry but I simply do not understand the concept" + "you did WHAT to wolves??"

but how could I say I don't know what a dog is when I see that cute lil demon!!

As a reminder: during Daylight Savings Time Direct are announced at 07:00 PST / 10:00 EST / 16:00 CEST / 23:00 JST. Thus, if the Direct is (despite the Japanese holiday on Thursday) on Wednesday, the announcement would take place later today.
If the Direct is on Thursday, the announcement would happen tomorrow at those times (and yes, it would still be Wednesday in Japan).
