He had info on Pokemon Let's Go once upon a time, but hasn't really claimed to have any insider information since.
Pretty sure he was just joking around with Jon, I don't think we should read much into it.
I saw that, those people have no idea what they're talking aboutGlad I left Nintendo Life behind as a member. Just look at the comment section.

Oh yeah, I'm not as familiar with their writers but the three main video guys are all greatIt can be a really hostile place there, especially when it comes to rumors and diversity in the gaming landscape. A shame because I think the staff overall puts out enjoyable content.
Someone even speculated I was Nate himself. lol
Nate likes black licorice.
I'm afraid that means I can no longer trust his judgement on anything. Oh dear.
I mean I styled it out in incredible fashion so maybe.holy shit, congratulations??
do uh… do they give out awards for receiving awards on behalf of award-winners? because you deserve that award!
No time for speech unfortunatelyCongrats to your friend!
….Did you thank NintendoEra?
Or condemn us?
Either way works.
He's a good person so sharing in his happiness was a rare moment of glee
But he just had a baby so he's a-kraid he couldn't come up with anything"My friend is dreadfully sorry he couldn't metroid it tonight..."
Next you'll say you hate fennel or kale! There are easier and more pleasant ways for me to make myself vomit than eating black liquorice.
I'll count this as progress.Fennel is just black liquorice disguised as a plant because it hates us so strongly that it gains camouflage powers.
Kale I've got nothing against. Love some chopped kale in my scrambled eggs in the morning.
I'm just not a fan of the taste of anise/black liquorice in general. The red alternative is good though! (twizzlers/red vines)
So I went through some of the first party games released this year and yeah three weeks seems like about the time most get their previews. Friday is less common but WarioWare had them three weeks before on a Friday so tomorrow for Dread would line up with that exactly.I feel like most of their first party games get previews about 3 weeks before launch, and they've been doing a lot of Dread marketing on Fridays the past month or so.
Also I'm very glad I actually double checked this post because autocorrect changed previews to penises
You have demonstrated good taste.hot take kale and black liquorice are both great
just not together
Is it odd that I hate liquorice but love absinthe?
I've never been able to explain it.
Maybe I'm showing my ignorance since I don't like either, but don't they taste very very similar?I thought absinthe tasted more like anise than liquorice? So maybe that's why.
I don't think it's impossible that an original plan to have GB or N64 last year, and the other one this year, was ultimately pushed forward so the two will launch close together. Either just because of COVID making things work out that way, or also possibly because the Game Boy and N64 originally had connectivity with each other that would be a cool new feature to emulate in the classic game service.I would love it so much, but doesnt it maybe seem unlikely they'd announce gb/gbc and n64 at the same time, or even within a few months of eachother? I mean based on what Nate has given plus the beautiful label lining up wjth n64 specs, im pretty convinced we'll see n64 but after 3 years of such little in the way of virtual console, this just seems too amazing to be true. Maybe they could be trying to make up for no nso update last year? Thought anyone?
We still don't have a proper deathmatch multiplayer FPS on Switch, it's crazy. Closest thing we have is Warface but the pay-2-win mechanic of the game absolutely ruins it. That's it.
No, you said, "I wouldn't expect anything out of it" regarding Nick's tweet, remember? That's why we all disregarded the tweet.
Captain clarified that it was Halo on Switch he was talking about.
However he said last year that he never heard anything else about it. So it was kinda obviously a nothing burger rumor.
Give me Pokemon GB games and the Stadium games with all the connectivity between them intact and I'll be so happy.I don't think it's impossible that an original plan to have GB or N64 last year, and the other one this year, was ultimately pushed forward so the two will launch close together. Either just because of COVID making things work out that way, or also possibly because the Game Boy and N64 originally had connectivity with each other that would be a cool new feature to emulate in the classic game service.
However, I'm probably subject to biased reasoning here because that connectivity is exactly what I want. Features like that have always been extremely lacking since VC began on Wii, and I have low hopes it'll start happening now. But just hypothetically I do think it would be a really convenient explanation for the extra year's gap.
it might not be a good idea, per se, but I think awards are fun as long as they're goofy and good-spirited
Haven't used the Galaxy Buds, but my Sony WH-1000XM4s got this crackle after a while, so I went back to wired.Hi guys, I don't know if I can ask here but did anyone use the galaxy earbud 2 on the Switch? Did have any problem? I'm thinking of buying now that bluetooth has arrived

Not a remotely helpful response, sorry lol
Let's hope they give us some filter options so I can make circle of the moon impossible to see to recreate the original experience. This is like the third time it's been rated and I think we all assumed it already, but Switch version confirmed!

anise and anise-adjacent shit slaps but I have to take my BL in moderation
