You may have missed it but I requested the creation of team Twenty-Three-Is-Number-One (for September 23 obviously). Since I was previously vanquished you can put the Ghost of Skittzo on that team.
Dark Cloud closed for new teams a while ago but this is just for fun so Team Twenty-Three-Is-Number-One has now been registered as a spectating team and you have been added to it as a ghost.

Yes, I am making this up as I go along. Sorry hologram and Ghost of Dark Cloud

There isn't an official way to move things from Gen 1 and 2, but I believe people have made a way to extract the save data from the cartridges and inject it into the 3DS VC releases, allowing them to go to bank.

Oh word? Do you know where I could find this method? When I used to look it up in futility, I could only find these Gameboy readers that could only connect to a PC via the printer port, but I don't have a computer rig from 1996 anymore lol

how about even moreof an abomination?

There's the Gameboy Operator that even interfaces with an Emulator so you can play game directly from the cartridge.

But thats more of a fancy thing.

There's also the GBXCart RW, which is really good from all I've heard.

I feel like Tales of Arise is the first Tales game I knew was coming out since....Vesperia. All of the games in between, I was like "Oh when did this come out? 2 years ago?!".

No no. So what we actually need is for the classic N64 controller to be split into three parts. We need the left handle with the DPad and L button as the left Joy Con, the right handle with B, A, C buttons and R as the right Joy Con and then have the middle handle with the analogue stick, start button and Z trigger plug into the USB-C Port. Obviously there would have to be a clip extending up the back of the console and clipping on to the top or it would put too much pressure on the USB-C port.

You're welcome, Nintendo. I just gave you a billion dollar design for free.

I think if Nintendo did an F-Zero for Phones it would probably have more gameplay than this.

For all the flak it gets I think Mario Kart Tour actually plays really well.
It actually feels like Mario Kart.
Then theres the eh Gacha elements.

But this is just a card game?

excuse me this has compelling merge gameplay

You know what
I agree
and then we also need some way to be able to stick it back together for docked play.

Maybe naive of me but I'd like to think that tri-Ace has at least another good game in them. The lack of a budget wasn't the only reason why SO5 was bad but it certainly didn't help. Now that JRPGs are having a little bit of a resurgence by releasing on multiple healthy platforms, it'd be kind of a waste to let that opportunity slip by.

Oh, yeah. I'd certainly love to see another attempt from them. (Also, where's my Star Ocean: Second Evolution port!)

With Kraid finally returning in Dread, what other bosses would y'all like to see make a return in future Metroid games? (2D or 3D) Personally I hope Sylux has enough resources to build his own Quadraxis in Prime 4.
I've always been curious how they might pull off Yakuza in 3D. One of my most hard-fought boss battles in Fusion. Seriously, lol, that dude wrecked me a million times when I was a kid. Not only was I afraid of spiders at the time, but Yakuza was just straight-up difficult. Now it's one of my favorite Metroid bosses.

Happy to see a solid healthy first week for WarioWare. It should have bigger legs than the other games in the franchise, so I expect it to be a big success in the end.

I was like 10 and I don't recall struggling with that boss.

GameBoy joycons with a proper d-pad on the left controller plz.

So, at first I was about to dash all hopes of custom Joy-Con because the new FCC listing (HAC-043) is just a single model but Joy-Con come in pairs with different IDs for L and R (HAC-015 / HAC-016). However, the NES NSO controllers also has two model numbers (HAC-033 and HAC-034) but only the HAC-033 is in the FCC database.

So who knows - It could be a single controller, half a joy-con set, or giant DK bongos that slide in. My money's on a rectangular shape that looks like the bottom half of a game boy. Nintendo's been chopping up controllers lately: https://twitter.com/N_Officialstore/status/1407885413881159682.

Whatever it is, hope to see it soon!

A Nintendo FCC application for a new wireless game controller HAC043 was made available on the FCC site last night. https://fccid.io/BKEHAC043
042 was the snes NSO controller and 034 was the NES controller.

Most details are still confidential and the published label diagram for this one doesn't reveal the controller shape (like it did for the SNES one in 2019).

But a new controller is coming and likely to be announced soon. probably points to a new console on NSO
oop that's hype

or maybe it's something even more off the wall? If we're only getting Gameboy / Color, would they really make a haunted little Gameboy as Switch controller?

if it's N64, that's fucking wild

maybe it's something Pokémon-related?

or a weird sidestep revision??

I'm so into this whatever it is

I believe it's a new model of Joy-Con with a gyro align sensor. It's a small camera adjacent to the bumper. It's low spec, but good enough to recognise a TV screen and use it as a alignment reference.

Also, it has a Sexy Time button, which turns on the HD rumble for use as a pleasure aid. (I joke but should someone make a game like that?)

you know I think I'd like to finally see Ridley as a boss
Yeah making him a mini boss all the time is just plain disrespectful

3D Yakuza would be stressful but I need to see it now, maybe it'd be like the Jump Guardian but crawling all over the walls too

The catch, GB didn't have analogsticks, so they remove them on these.
This is already what happened with the NES Joy-cons, and is exactly what would happen with Game Boy Joy-cons. You need to be able to hold them sideways and pass one to a friend and play it like a Game Boy, so it's the analog stick that gets replaced, not the face buttons.

HAC-043 is filling in a gap in the model numbers between a stylus and the arrow signs from Home Circuit, so there can't be another model with a contiguous number.

The 8Bitdo Pro Plus or whatever it was called is so much better than any controller Nintendo has put out since the Wii I honestly don't even bother with their retro replicas anymore.
