NSO is an absolute bargain tbh. Access to Wario's Woods, the actual genuine GOAT, for a year, for only $20? It's a steal.

Most people don't really think what's there is bad. It's what isn't there, especially compared to VC. There's no way to buy N64 games, which were available on the Wii and Wii U. Let alone any other system. There's no way to buy GameBoy or GBA.

Companies that *want* to release legacy content from those platforms already have been. There's nothing stopping anyone releasing any GBA, or any other platform, games they think are worth rereleasing.

Alright my man it's on.

MisterSpo smh. I understand though. It's hard to leave Wario. We could still get you a Wario avatar. It might not be the most pleasing to look at lol.

Just so you know, it's definitely gonna be this one for you:

The biggest problem with NSO is that it seemingly replaced VC, making a very large chunk of Nintendo's library inaccessible on the Switch. If they kept NSO as it is and brought GB, GBA and N64 back by VC, I'd be very happy.

ngl, as unhappy as I was with Mario 64 on the 3D Collection not being widescreen and 60fps, I still think that's the minimum for N64 rereleases. I don't really wanna go back to the "faithful" emulations of the Wii/Wii U era.

If Ubisoft makes an exclusive for the new upgraded Switch model we can call it:

"Just Dane"

screw Ubisoft though

I'm scared it might be a Direct Mini :(

Why? They've done a September Direct every Switch year so far barring past year for obvious reasons. Though they even had more than enough September/October material for a September Direct last year.

There's two things you can be certain of when September rolls around:

1) Pumpkin spice will start to infect every food and scented item you love
2) Nintendo will have a Direct

I can see Nintendo position a GB/GBC/GBA NSO expansion as marketing for Metroid Dread and say something like: 'You can now play the direct precursor to Metroid Dread - Metroid Fusion with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription via the Gameboy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online app.'

Every pattern is bound to be broken at some point though, hehe.

And fuck pumpkin spice!

And also, as with every September since i've first seen it online, i argue with myself to get that giant plastic skeleton.

Though the reaction of my wife would be way more scary, so i let it be.

When the Switch Lite launched. The "launch window" included Darksiders II and Ni No Kuni and now for the OLED model, it will have Darksiders 3 and Ni No Kuni 2.

Switch Pro/2/whatever confirmed to launch with Ni No Kuni 3 and Darksiders 4.

Just thinking about the launchwindow for the Lite, it was absolutely insane wit hsoftware. There was 13 games I've either bought at the time or at a later date and I didnt buy every single high profile game either. Kinda crazy

Astral Chain
Final Fantasy VIII
Spyro Trilogy
Divinity Original Sin 2
AI: The Somnium Files
Daemon x Machina
Sayonara Wild Hearts
Links Awakening
Untitled Goose Game
Ni No Kuni
Contra: Rogue Corps
DQ XIS
Ori and the Blind Forrest

Oled launch window is much tamer for me personally but Metroid Dread will be enough :)

This is the first year I'll be living in a single family home for Halloween, I'm super tempted to basically go broke getting decorations.

I actually want to build a maze in the backyard for the kids but I don't know what to use for walls, I was thinking stacks of hay. You can probably rent hay from somewhere, right?

Sooooooo... Pyroclastic Eruption in Divinity OS2 is absolutely busted. It sends out a ball of earth towards every enemy within 50 meters, and each ball has a 5m radius explosion and at my current intelligence does about 3500 damage, or 7000 if I crit.

This means if 5 enemies are standing within 5 meters of each other, they're each hit with 5 of these explosions and each take 25000-35000 damage. Which is exactly what just happened with Adramahlihk, who happens to be the hardest enemy in the game, whom it killed instantly from full health. On the hardest difficulty.
That is so astonishingly pen and paper and I need me some of that

This avatar from the Retro bet went completely unused so...

Depends, do you live in the United States' Midwest region? Because if so, probably, yes. Just drive out into nowhere until someone's willing and able.
