Pyra again.
I genuinely confused myself trying to remember when Nintendo's usual timeslot was at E3 because last year's cancellation totally threw me off. For some reason I thought they were on Mondays!I'm SHOCKED I tell you, SHOCKED that Nintendo's e3 press conference is on Tuesday at 12pm EST, COMPLETELY SHOCKED

Separate announcement, as per usual.
What if they just drop a Tweet randomly Friday morning.
At first i was like, that's no likely since it's only 40 minutes but then i realized that E3 had two Smash reveals and it was around 40 Minutes
Pikmin 4 evolved into Jump Rope Challenge.
My thoughts exactly, lol. Too many Switch threads getting polluted with Pro talk/drive-bys when the topic itself isn't even about the Pro (like when Monster Hunter Rise's first trailer had people thinking it was Pro footage). And it feels like I've heard of Pro for the past two years.I have an og Switch and want them to release the "pro", not because I'll get It (waiting for Switch 2) but that will shut up some people lol.
Well then I guess it already technically worked since we got Nocturne HD, and the Nocturne disc was at the center of that circle.
There have been no leaks about the last two Smash characters, so we're completely in the dark. If I had a bet, I think the next character will be one last big franchise character, with the final one being more niche (Ex: Sol Badguy).
I still believe in 2021 for it.If we get SMT V, some gameplay at the Treehouse and a release date for 2021, I'll be more than content.
"Exclusively on software" gives significantly more credence to the idea of a Switch Pro getting revealed before E3.
If Nintendo wasn't going to reveal any new hardware before E3, thus giving no-one any legitimate (i.e. 'not based in rumours/leaks') reason to believe it might be shown, they would have no reason to specify that E3 is only showing software.
They're also very rarely this adamant that a Direct is 'exclusively' showing something; usually using the word 'focus' to leave more room open for surprises outside of said focus.
So, yeah. It's happening, folks!
The tweet specifically says software only, so any hardware reveals will be separate. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we got an announcement for the Super Switch tomorrow. But that's just me guessing.
Tbh, I'm more remembering the dark days of 2018. 25/42 minutes were just Smash...
I could 100% see the Pokemon Reveal being at E3An epic Toxtricity or Rillaboom reveal. Everyone will be happy.
40minutes....sweeeeeeet.
They never showcase or announce hardware on e3 Directs.
All I would like to see from the Nintendo E3 Direct is more of this…
Well that's a pretty wild guess... oh wait. The tweet specifically says software only, so any hardware reveals will be separate. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we got an announcement for the Super Switch tomorrow. But that's just me guessing.
