If resetting the calendar doesn't work, we should advance our Switch clocks forward several weeks and check Animal Crossing to see if a Direct has already happened in what will then be considered the past.

Just to be clear, I think it's fine to be dissapointed, I am too, but those who feel entitled to a direct need to take it down quite a few pegs.
Should have thought of this a long time ago, 2020 totally sucks so far.
Guys I'm going to turn it off and on again. We'll have to start over in January but hopefully it works better this time.
I've been doing the same thing with Smash Bros. Fighter Pass 2 is outrageous, let me tell you.

His leak seemed more like "oh by the way there's a nindie direct and then a direct" and then get back to his actual job.

People are just asking to know what games release in april and may, it's not really a big entitlement and was asked about since months.
Some people saying "just play AC lol" are the ones that should "take it down a few pegs" if you're going that route (nobody outside of those harrassing/etc should "take it down" anyway).
Friday in the West is Saturday in Japan, by and large. Nintendo doesn't do this sort of thing on the weekends.
