There is a plausible way they could do it, I just really hope they don't. It would have CG Jabba The Hutt in the edited Star Wars energy. Those games are just fundamentally different vibes and I don't want what makes Xenoblade Chronicles special compromised by tacky bullshit.

Last year they announced their lineup 17 days in advance, this year we are 9 days out from the con and they haven't said anything yet

I'm aware. Sometimes they speculate and people take what they say as a "leak". Guess there's no way to know for sure right now. But yeah, no Direct until E3 would be rouuuugh.

Yeah, looking at things like this... are we so sure there's not a General Direct this week after all? It would make some sense to just be a General with a focus on Animal Crossing instead of a full on AC Direct.

I mean, I guess we'll know by tomorrow morning either way, but I'm curious.
