Possibly, but again, there was a novemher direct, so it was only 4 months. We are already now going 5.5 months in between, which is an insane amount of time. A march direct would be going over a half a year with no new game info.
The games that come will come anyway, regardless of when the Direct airs.

Literally every tentpole Nintendo release as of late (outside of Odyssey) has been getting premium DLC, mate
why wouldn't they do that at E3 then? this thread sometimes seems to think that Directs are mandatory when sometimes it makes no sense to do one
Tbh I don't use it that much but for 3DS I made a GBA/GBC/etc folder. But since Nintendo classic games are contained in an app anyways, it's irrelevant.
I'd rather rows and themes, personally.
It takes you like less than a minute to check that every game with DLC has that disclaimer.

Microtransactions aren't inherently bad depending on how it's done, and I think AC could potentially have interesting monetization potential.
Nintendo can be pretty...pricey though with their DLC.

I for example love racing games and multiple ones on my Switch.
I would love to just make a folder with those so I don't have to look for a specific one between all my games.
And I don't want to forget I even have Gensou Skydrift just because I don't play it that often, would be cool if I could have it just next to Mario Kart.

No, I think you missed Nintendo doing DLCs since the Wii U days for their biggest games.
I can't think of any game that wasn't made worse by microtransactions.

I disagree, they've all been worth the price so far.
I'm waiting for Pokémon to see exactly how big the new islands actually are, but other than that, all their DLCs are definitely worth the price. Especially Octo Expansion (one of the best DLC ever) and Smash Ultimate (FP is simply a steal at that price. You get so many contents)

Nah, 2017 they presented the switch on January 12th so not really fair to say the first direct was April...
On january they presented new games, a whole new console etc.
That or wednesday, don't freak out if it's not tuesday, last year's February direct was anounced on wednesday
Yeah and it sucks, it's a great game but I hate the microtransactions it.
A game can still be good with MTX but it always makes them worse
