Can't wait for the 47 minute analysis video of that situation

He has done a mask reveal
If Odyssey 2 doesn't come this year and 3D World Deluxe does, how much copies would it sell? I'm thinking somewhere in the six to eight million range.
If they're ports, sure. There was a quick turnaround from announcing DKCRTF and NSMBUD, among others
A (really unlikely, willfully pessimistic) year could look a little like this:
March: Animal Crossing
May: Xenoblade DE
July: Super Mario 3D World
August: Pikmin 3+
September: Bayonetta 3
October: BOTW2
November: maaaaybe Sinnoh remakes? we'll see tomorrow lol
edit: y'know this isn't actually that crazy besides the absence of any Mario content H1
Maker 2 has likely already outsold the first game in half a year and NSMBU Deluxe is almost definitely going to outsell NSMBU before longmario titles tends to eat sales each others and there's actually no hype for another port outside of some user here. just look at maker 2 and nsmbudx.
Well if you think the Nate the Hate Mask is handsome then yes.
Don't bother. they've been on this "Mario titles eats each other sales greatly conspiracy" for a long time now lolMaker 2 has likely already outsold the first game in half a year and NSMBU Deluxe is almost definitely going to outsell NSMBU before long
seems like Mario's doing fine

a 3d world port will not do LM3 numbers.

First off, LM3 will sell more than 8 million when it's all said and done. It'll probably reach 10 million.
Second off, Mario always sells. This whole Mario Maker and NSMBUD failing talk is getting old. They're selling pretty damn well.
Third, this is a 3D multiplayer Mario game. That would sell no matter what.
What counts as "a Mario game" to you, though?yea, right, but they can't do fine forever. oversaturation is a thing and I hope we don't see a new one til september at the very least.
that's my opinion though.
I'd assume anything with the word "Mario" on the cover
I don't know if my brain can comprehend any take that considers a Paper Mario game and a hypothetical Mario Odyssey 2 as in competition for sales, though.I'd assume anything with the word "Mario" on the cover
not even being a smartass, that's my line lol
on a shelf, they're both mario games, they both say mario. parents might pick one or the other.I don't know if my brain can comprehend any take that considers a Paper Mario game and a hypothetical Mario Odyssey 2 as in competition for sales, though.
HAL said after Star Allies that they're taking a step forward for the series, so I think it'll be a little longer before we see Kirby. As for the game itself... 3D, finally?
for the most part this list looks more realistic than mine, but no mario at all in 2020?January: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore (port)
February: (nothing)
March: Animal Crossing: New Horizons
April: Pikmin 3 (port)
May: (nothing)
June: (nothing)
July: Xenoblade Chronicles (remake)
August: Bayonetta 3
September: (nothing)
October: No More Heroes III
November: Pokemon Sword/Shield DLC
December: Breath of the Wild 2 (eventually delayed to Q1 2021)
I'm feeling Star Stacker personally. Maybe even Panel de Pon Star Stacker; like Puyo Puyo Tetris.I'm thinking we're finally going to see the return of Kirby's Block Ball.

Ah, but Musou games have never deviated from a very specific art style without bulky cartoon characters. Unless you mean a different developer than KT?HAL never have done a full 3D game before, I'm skeptical on that idea. If the next Kirby game is from them i think it's gonna be a traditional Kirby beat em up game.
My wish is Kirby Musou. Best way to transfer Kirby in a 3D space. Keep the core beat em mechanics but beat the crap out of Waddle Dees in a Dreamland field. All power ups should be there, expecially my all time favorite: Yoyo.
This would be a really awful year so fingers crossed we're looking at something more promising than thisJanuary: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore (port)

I hope you're joking for my own sake, but this is a good point. We now have a 2020 list thread on the front page, and these lists should go there.
It's the only way
So much pessimism with these lists.
I'm not sure why we're expecting fewer first party games this year than we got last year.
