Just because people havent heard of one coming yet doesn't mean it's not happening. I very much believe one is, sooner rather than later.
I'm just saying January is a long month. The Direct could be on the 29th/30th for all we know.
IIRC they have never done a Direct in the second half of a month. General Direct anyway.
I think they tried to say that this year's January will be longer than usual. In fact it will be the longest January ever recorded.
Nah. I've said it before. Starting in 2014 Nintendo does all their general directs in the first half of the month. It'll be next week or the week after.

if you are, my condolences, welcome to the club
I'm happy for more Wii U ports this year and I know there's no way that X is one of them but that is my absolute most wanted Switch port by a million miles. Maybe someday.
Real talk though, I fully expect Nintendo to have nearly 20 first/second party games between retail and eShop, and maybe up to 30 counting territorial publishing deals. Anybody thinking 1 game (or less) a month is extremely underrating them. They've got the muscle and the momentum, and this is the first full year that they're completely focused on one machine in a long time.
