God damn the 2015 one gave me insane nostalgia, reminds me the good days of watching it live with Etika and seeing Iwata showing all the games...
Excuse me while my eyes bleed.
Mimosa is giving me the confidence I need.
I can see that now lol
Looking at the list ... i hope your "feeling" Mimosa works out, or else i advice to make that "1 Mimosa for 1 on the BotW2 @ TGA list" thing under medical supervision! ;D
maybe they will be baby mimosas, that way i live to play the game!
All intros are good, the issue is with the transitions.
Like the one that was spoiling all the Direct was the worst.
I'm talking about headlines like those:Reporting on those ones live was funny, just seeing Kirby's face with zero context coming up and trying to figure out what it could even be ahead of time
I think the recent Directs have nailed the aesthetics and pacing, the only thing that's really missing is the lack of goofy skits, but I think Doug Bowser will be up for more of that considering the silly video he was in with Bowser. Next E3 will be fun.
This was so dumb
I like it.Whoever thought this headline format was a good idea is hopefully banned permanently from this forum. Absolutely disgusting.
Yes...and music is so catchy.God damn the 2015 one gave me insane nostalgia, reminds me the good days of watching it live with Etika and seeing Iwata showing all the games...
We're not getting one until the New Years.Hey sorry this thread is a lot and kinda hard to read. Do we think we're getting a Direct before The Game Awards? Or are we not getting one until the new year?
Cool! Thanks! Haha every page in this thread should have the top post be like, "here's the current Direct rumours/consensus" to avoid posts like mine.
The only important part of a Direct ... "We have one more thing to show". ^^
2015-2016 one was pretty calm.
There is never a need for a post-September Direct anymoreSeems like a lot of people are always saying "We will get another Direct after one in September before end of the year".
But point is there really is no need for it, i mean why would you reveal 2020 games closer to end of the year when you need to sell 2019 games first?
I like it.
They dialed it back either way in the last ones, so you see like only the next
Everyone knows it'll actually be SilkSong, commemorating Hollow Knights 3 year anniversary. ;)
Nah I hate that one too. I don't want any spoilers at all during my quarterly scheduled mega commercial.
😊Everyone knows it'll actually be SilkSong, commemorating Hollow Knights 3 year anniversary. ;)
They haven't had more than one general direct second half of the year since 2013 anyway. The last 4 years it's just one in september. 2014 and 15 just had one in november. There is never a need for a post-September Direct anymore
Nintendo can use the Game Awards to announce whatever they want to announce at the end of the year
That's my Q1 sorted
what about 3rd party controllers that use the gamecube design then?
Will they still be able to produce them?
Some of them had deals with Nintendo I assume looking at the Super Mario themed ones.
I honestly closed my eyes during those parts lmao. Once you display the content of a Direct like that, you suck all the fun and excitement out of your glorified 40 minutes commercial.
