End Game release date 26th of April 2019, there are 45 days until the release. Since the Cap dividing it, 45/2 = 22.5 days. 03/04/2019 Wednesday is confirmed for Direct.

In both 2017 and 2018 we had an average of just over 1 direct per month. So there's no precedent at all for requiring such a long gap between announcements.

I finally caved from the lack of hype feel ready to step back into this crazy world of Nintendo speculation after the last direct. l feel like I missed something (probably a lot of things in the last few weeks) but I don't know if I want to know what.
You missed basically nothing. If Zell is right, looks like the March third-party announcements will be heavily backloaded.

Oh, thanks. Guess they just couldn't make it on the day-of for whatever reason. Hopefully there's a new game announced, but I think Capcom will want to focus on Iceborne for this year and we'll get whatever's next in 2020.
Nothing every major series has announcements on their anniversary date. I don't know why you kept clinging to that.
I wonder if there will be a new Sonic game this year besides Team Sonic Racing. It'd be good timing to give Sonic fans something positive to think about instead of just leaving them steaming over the Sonic movie for a whole year, but I doubt Sonic Team (or whoever at SEGA works on Sonic now) is ready yet. Now would be a good time for a Sonic Colors or Sonic Unleashed remaster for PC, maybe other consoles.
Might be because March 11th is also the anniversary of that horrible earthquake and Tsunami that happened back in 2011.

No, but we're almost halfway through the month with no major third-party Switch announcements so far. Unless you're expecting something at Inside Xbox (I doubt it, focus will probably be on Halo MCC for PC and info on the other games they listed), it looks like the announcements King Zell is expecting will be in the second half.
I forgot about that. Holding the anniversary event after the actual anniversary of Monster Hunter makes sense in that case.
