Lately it's been the day before the direct, about 32 hours before. For US people like myself that's 9am EST or 10am EDT.
"You thought you would see the Direct announcement today, did you? WELL, TOO BAD! It's tomorrow."

Why speculate on something that's been essentially confirmed?
