What will Nintendo show at the Game Awards?

Now of course, Breath of the Wild was shown off approximately sixty-five times at the show during its interminable development. Bayo 3 was announced there, too, and then vanished into the ether. Mercurysteam's been real quiet, and Samus Returns released in spring of 2017, so who knows? And, Hell, Marvel Ultimate Alliance wasn't expected last year, was it? But we sure got it.

But Jimmy Joe! Is this a bet?

It sure is, little buddy. It sure is.

What if Nintendo shows off something not on this poll?

Well then that would be mighty fine, now wouldn't it? This can include your Pikmins 4, or your Formula-Zero, or your Indie Collaborations. It can be whatever your heart desires! These poll options are not meant to be all-encompassing. You make a prediction. You put yourself on the line.

How long would I need to do that?

It wasn't made clear before, so I'm taking the liberty of making it clear now: you will keep this avatar until the next Nintendo Direct, probably sometime in January.

So that's the gist of how this will work.

How do I participate in the bet?

1. Make a prediction, whether it's on the list or not. You wanna bet on the long-awaited Pikmin 4 reveal or the collaborative Banjo revival, that's your prerogative.
2. Clarify if you want to be part of the avatar bet or if you are a Big Coward.
3. Get added onto the list.
4. Watch The Game Awards. When it's over, compare the event to your prediction.
5. If your prediction was right, hurray! Pat yourself on the back, you did the impossible and figured out what Nintendo was going to do.
6. If your prediction (any of them) was wrong, then change your avatar to the image inlined above. Thus shall it remain until the next Direct.

Sure, I'm in. I'm in the "definitely not BotW 2" gang, since I don't think Nintendo will show it off again until E3 next year. I'm fully in on Bayo 3 (if only because I really want it to show up, I sorely need more info) and the final Fighter's Pass character being shown there too. I'll probably lose though.

Yeah, they dropped that BOTW 2 trailer in June out of absolutely nowhere and have been completely silent on the topic ever since. Clearly just biding their time until they've got a chance to have 25 million sets of eyes on them.

Sora for Smash, and Kingdom Hearts (1.5+2.5) for switch. i wouldn't be surprised if a new KH spin-off/side game is coming to a nintendo platform but for TGAs i'm just going with Sora for smash as the shot, and the 1.5 and 2.5 games as the chaser. I would be surprised to see 0.8 on switch cause that was basically like a UE4 tech demo but if they could get the full "story so far" running on switch then awesome, i'll triple dip.
