Nintendo 3DS: new Firmware update (Ver. 11.12.0-44)

Here it is, the latest Firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS. It's Ver. 11.12.0-44, and only takes a few seconds to download.

No patch notes yet, but there's little reason to believe it will be anything more than:

Trust me, I'm very aware. I'm just pissed that this app alone caused Nintendo to become frightened of instilling basic features in their online systems.

Man, first the PS3 gets a system update a month or two ago and now this...

I don't guess they're ever going to remove the now-useless Miiverse icon? Wonder how many unaware people click that thing each month and end up quickly disappointed.

Just had to update to 11.13.0-45U. Seems very soon for another update. Haven't noticed anything yet, but notes say:

"Resolved an issue where StreetPass would not work in some cases."

.....not sure anybody is still finding street passes, but that's appreciated.
