Era's favorite streamer seems fed up with people lashing out against the games they play and make a living off of.

He's not wrong. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone try and spin this to make him look bad - Era style.

Do the opposite of what this guy thinks/says.

He has tweeted some uninformed, embarrassing shit. He might be good at online pew-pew, but please don't take life lessons from him. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

His content isn't for me but I agree on this point. The channels that focus on anger and rage are not good for us. They do it due to a broken system that rewards such behavior. It's not good.

There is some truth to this.

Basically, game A gets you famous so it's probably not in your best interest to diss game A as your profile can actually now influence fans or a community to think/feel the same way.

Eventually you might lose the audience because you literally told them it wasn't a good thing or not worth it.

I don't really see a problem with what he said. He's right imo, and admits he hasn't always done it right either. Fair play.

Exactly far too much negative ott reaction videos on YouTube - mostly from untalented hacks.

Sure, that's always a good message. Ninja just isn't a good example of it.

ninja worked to become better at this, but its still eye rolly considering how much of a rager he was and seemingly the only reason hes improved on it is because hes become filthy rich and ultra famous. Of course he no longer gives a fuck about videogame rage. I wouldn't either.

Yeah, I mean his message boils down to "Think before you tweet." Good advice for literally everyone. And his goal appears to be less toxicity, which is a good thing. In before the wave of toxicity aimed at him.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Didn't watch it, did you?

At least at this point in his career he isn't instilling shitty messages to children like PDP.

Not a fan of Ninja at all, but at this point he's clearly aware of how far his voice reaches and is attempting something positive with it. Hope he keeps it up

The internet is full of negativity. Twitter just now is full of twats telling people who enjoyed Skywalker they are wrong. Probably a safe bet that a high proportion of those twats haven't seen the movie yet.

Won't lie, that's some good advice. Too bad the streamer Ninja won't ever heed to it. This dude has nothing but videos of him being an asshole to people in video games. I'm sorry, "heat of the moment gamer shit".

Seems like a good message to put out there. /shrug

We could all be more positive. I know I certainly could, i try not to be negative, but I slip up. Alot.

Anyway, sadly negativity and conflict sells. Until that changes, the internet and YouTube videos in particular will be a breading ground for negativity.

Just try your best not to fall down that rabbit hole.

So Angry Joe evolves into Harmonious Joe. I'd watch that train wreck.
Angry Joe takes his time to explain why his angry about something. Thats the whole point of Ninja message here is ppl going on social media and just spitting one liners like "This game or this dev sux" and thats it. No one learned why the game sux, no one learned why the dev sux, the devs dont know what you would like to see improved. If a dev watch a Angry Joe trashing his game, they will have a very good idea where they messed up and what they could do to improve it.

It's important for big content creators to promote positivity and unity in a community that can be incredibly hostile. Kudos to Ninja and I hope he's not the only one who shares this message. We should minimize the Dr. Disrespects of the world and maximize folks that include people and build people up instead of tear them down.

People complain that Joe's reviews are too long. The people doing that just want to hear "THIS GAME SUCKS!". They're part of the problem.

What a mixed message. It's ok on stream or with friends but not on twitter or facebook etc?

Just be a better person all round, it's not difficult. Ninja you can do better than this.

I mean he also just got older and gained experience. I would imagine anyone would rage less after learning the lessons he has over the years and natural growth from becoming older.

Saying "fuck this game" after getting sniped doesn't make you a bad person. That's the whole point.

It doesn't really matter how AJ explains himself because his approach has harbored a terrible community of gamers that follow him regardless. And even then, AJ isn't one to explain his points very well to begin with. He is the furthest from being constructive.

I think he's expressed his point a bit poorly here, but I do agree with a lot of the message.
