maybe from Rare or from Xbox globle puplishing
so i guess this turned out to be true:
Ninja Theory hiring a game analytics person, sounds potentially Games as a Service-y
i remember a lot of people calling bullshit back then
1 this gen. Others all died quick fates last genWarhawk, SOCOM, Killzone, Twisted Metal, GT Sport and so on...
Do you do anything other than troll Xbox threads? Didn't you get a ban (or at least a warning) for doing what you are doing right now?"But but but Phil Spencer understands the importance of story-driven single player games otherwise he wouldn't have bought Ninja Theory!"
There's value in these kinds of games for MS when you consider their pivot to more of a subscription model. They need a certain number of MP/service type games to keep people coming back. It's not at all that surprising and I think will be reflected in a lot of their acquisitions.
Not really. Because of Gamepass you will see alot of different kind of games. That the best thing about Gamepass.Considering Xbox Game Pass I wouldn't expect any Xbox exclusives to escape having GaaS elements, multiplayer or otherwise.
Alot of games look the same, people still play them.I'm aware of that, but this basically has the artstyle of ARMS, overwatch and apex which is starting to get repetitive.
Man, out of anything they could do they make a 4vs4 brawler? Hype completely deflated.
Warhawk, SOCOM, Killzone, Twisted Metal, GT Sport and so on...
Multiplayer Combo Action game? Yes!
*I don't have Xbox though :/
this is so embarrassing, yikes."But but but Phil Spencer understands the importance of story-driven single player games otherwise he wouldn't have bought Ninja Theory!"
sigh, if this is true i guess fans of singleplayer games will just have to pray their favourite developers don't get bought out by microsoftConsidering Xbox Game Pass I wouldn't expect any Xbox exclusives to escape having GaaS elements, multiplayer or otherwise.

This was in works before MS bought them, Jesus people."But but but Phil Spencer understands the importance of story-driven single player games otherwise he wouldn't have bought Ninja Theory!"
Is it as simple as a game being made since 2014 that would have ended up coming out multiplatform? It's not like Microsoft told them at gun point to make this, Phil Spencer been name dropping Hellblade for YEARS. The SP game will eventuall come. This game was probably their farthest along and looks great so this finished first.
Living up to your name lmao."But but but Phil Spencer understands the importance of story-driven single player games otherwise he wouldn't have bought Ninja Theory!"
When shown and introduced in context at E3 I'm sure this will be addressed, but because it's a leak (which I wish we cracked down on) mustache twirling Microsoft is at it again. The only problem this game is gonna have is people are gonna go "they went from hellblade to a multiplayer game? Fuck Microsoft!" without knowing this was in development before they bought them and they also have a SP game in the works.
Edit: oh, it's already happening in this thread, of course
I mean this should be on PC with the play anywhere mandate.
Right?
Does anyone know how that thing works?
