Its all those unhealthy salt levels.People thinking the subs drop off next month don't get how this works.
Yeah it's huge now. What a brilliant move by MicrosoftI didn't know there were 500k viewers on mixer, let alone 1 million.
Oh, that's nothing. I also have all the free Epic store games and I haven't even installed the launcher. I know, I know, I'm a mad lad.You savage you. Grabbed a free sub for fun and then won't return.
What's Impresive is the uptick in mixer usage. He has 5 million views in 5 days. 1 million subs(free) in 5 days. Other streamers are having a serious uptick in viewers.Regardless of what? The part where they're free makes it easier to sub, not harder. It takes more effort to
1) Go to mixer.com in a browser
or
2) Create an account
The more impressive, actually relevant numbers in a vacuum would be how many new accounts were created in the wake of this
They probably will, he had 15k on Twitch before jumping over, 10k of which where through Prime. The drop off will likely be over 90% at least. There's a bunch of people who honestly believe 99% of the subs are going to be gone when it's not free anymore
Oh, that's nothing. I also have all the free Epic store games and I haven't even installed the launcher. I know, I know, I'm a mad lad.
Just report him and move on.

You're the anomalyOh, that's nothing. I also have all the free Epic store games and I haven't even installed the launcher. I know, I know, I'm a mad lad.
He was actively streaming actually, he took a break early this year, when he was around 30-40k. Him holding 10k paid would be insane for Mixer. The current total is 4x his peak on Twitch, it's not even close to sustainable.Yes because he stopped streaming so his subs fell. If he's actively streaming it shouldn't fall off as drastically
I just checked and you don't need any payment details associated with your Microsoft account to subscribe, and the subscriptions aren't set to auto renew when you subscribe either. The Subs are the monthly pay option, they'll drop off, unless auto resub is on, as next month is also free.
You should know a thing or two about downplaying ;)Yeah the downplaying is out of hand. I really don't get it. Are there streaming fanboys? Or is it console wars (due to Microsoft owning mixer)? Or something else. I don't get it
Oh, I didn't even know no payment details were required. I wonder how many people have subbed thinking it's the equivalent of a Twitch follow.I just checked and you don't need any payment details associated with your Microsoft account to subscribe, and the subscriptions aren't set to auto renew when you subscribe either.
I don't understand the love for streamers personally. I watch streams to check out games I'm interested in, or see how people who are good at them do so well, but that's it.
I did check out Ninja's stream on Mixer for a few minutes, and I saw a lot of "you're a god" "I love you" and "be my boyfriend/marry me" type stuff. I don't get it.
Having 1 Mil of anything is impressive though. Whether it's free YouTube subscriptions or paid ones.Don't Xbox One users simply click on his name and press the sub button. It's not like you have to go an extra step by creating an account.
You already have one as an Xbox user.
Took 7 posts for the downplay brigade to begin. Expected it sooner to be honest
They are both free to watch. Subscriptions are paid for both platforms, however ninja's are currently free until the end of September hence the inflated number. So Mixer is paid and Twitch is free? I don't know much about streaming so can somebody please clarify?
Both are free. Subscribing is just a way to support a streamer. Pay monthly, usually get some little things like exclusive chat emotes and ad free viewing. So Mixer is paid and Twitch is free? I don't know much about streaming so can somebody please clarify?
How much subs did he have on Twitch? They are both free to watch. Subscriptions are paid for both platforms, with the exception of ninja's which are currently free hence the inflated count.
If clarification for those unaware is downplaying, then sure.Took 7 posts for the downplay brigade to begin. Expected it sooner to be honest
I dont understand what angle your trying to highlight, MS account is a single one, so what?Don't Xbox One users simply click on his name and press the sub button. It's not like you have to go an extra step by creating an account.

I'm not sure what he had prior to him leaving for Mixer, but he did have a peak of 269k paying subscribers at the height of his popularity.
It's a classic downplay, in line with it's free, one click sign up, hell lose 90% of subscribers after the first month, etc.I dont understand what angle your trying to highlight, MS account is a single one, so what?
Around 15k when he switched. Twitch subs can be very variable though.
He probably lives and dies on Mixer. From what I just searched, he is getting over 50 million to stream on Mixer. How long is this contract for? Seems like the money is too easy to pass up.
Then you're not an "active sub". The tweet is about active subs.
