Their online sucks ass and missing basic features, that are included in the competitors service while demanding money for this is just broken shitWhat's broken? I get that people want messaging and voice chat and shit, but doesn't make it broken. It just doesn't exist. What it has works just fine. It just doesn't have much.
They have enough "enthusiasts" that this will work.Yeaaah, looking at the current online service: good luck with that Nintendo
Damn Nintendo for locking games behind money. They gonna lock more games and basic features behind it, isn't they?
If they can do as on switch they could make 3ds work too.Hopefully it's a Virtual Console subscription service with games from NES to GameCube and from Gameboy to DS. I'd subscribe to that if it's cheaper than Gamepass ($5 a month is reasonable, I think). Nintendo should be focused on fixing the service they already have, though.
Nintendo Online bombed, I'm guessing they are introducing a 60$ year plan that gives Switch games monthly.
Nintendo are smart, they know their fanbase is quite gullible and will make sure to take advantage.
It may be a completely different subscription, like Game Pass.I'd certainly pay more for those. But, it would seem odd to add higher brackets for more different classic console games. And I wonder how they would handle the upgrade for people who are months into their annual subscription.
I think Nintendo's silence is telling, but I'd personally wait until they divulge concrete details in March to judge.
I believe you're incorrect about that. They talked about the idea of adding more but never confirmed or promised anything.
For the privilege to play Smash, Splatoon2 and Mario Kart online.
What's broken? I get that people want messaging and voice chat and shit, but doesn't make it broken. It just doesn't exist. What it has works just fine. It just doesn't have much.
You want all the things from other providers while paying 3x less, got it.I want dedicated servers for more stable online play on Smash, Mario Tennis Aces,... the lag is unbearable and Nintendo can do better than this since they did already a better job with other titles. (ARMS and to some extent Splatoon)
It's a matter of investing money on something they should have done so many years ago, and set quality standards for the online experience.
See above.Their online sucks ass and missing basic features, that are included in the competitors service while demanding money for this is just broken shit
You're comparing "feature complete" to something that costs 3x more though. It's not broken but it is hardly feature complete for a paid online system in 2019.
Yeaaah, looking at the current online service: good luck with that Nintendo
Is this the first sign (IF THIS IS TRUE) of arrogant Nintendo being back due to the Switch success?
