Yeah, with the emergence of Suzuki, Domi found himself either playing center with Weise on his wing or being on the wing on Suzuki's line. Neither scenario worked well. There's certainly a spot for him on the team if he's happy playing on the wing but I suspect that's not the case.

The only reason we got Domi was our Center position at the time was bad. With KK and Suzuki emerging as our potential 1C, 2C,Domi is kinda lost in the lineup and it makes me wonder if Bergevin is looking at Calgary If they are looking at blowing things up
Love Max, but if he and management decide to move on then that's fine. It was strange seeing Tie in Habs colours
If Domi could play wing, he would definitely have a spot on the team. But if he can't, then he's of no use.

That's pretty unbelievable value for Kapanen. Really don't think he's a top 6 guy, as much as I hoped him to be. Floundered anytime he played in the top 6 for Toronto. Could work out better in Pitt though. A mid-1st and actual prospect (not a throwaway) seems very steep.

Leafs have to be happy with the value they got back, but Kapanen is the only sure thing here. There is some risk with the 1st as it's mid-round and Hallander has a bottom 6 ceiling.
