The playcall was fine and even executed perfectly, it's just the simple problem that Kupp evidently can't make that throw that ruined it.

That momentum coming out of the half was so fleeting for Cincy. Shame they couldn't have gotten a TD after the pick.

Not a good possession there, guess momentum really hasn't shifted. Not gonna be good for the Bengals if the Rams are getting pressure whenever they wanna now.

I love how results oriented people are

Stafford was wide ass open, Kupp just missed the throw. Philadelphia ran that exact same play in the SB and it worked, and there has been endless deepthroating about how ballsy and genius it was
Aside from his patented once-per-game Stafford Scramble™, Matthew has never been known as a particularly mobile QB and has virtually no receiving experience. He was open because he's barely a receiver threat and even if Kupp (how much throwing experience does he have?) hadn't sailed it, expecting Stafford to catch it and manage a decent turn upfield (plus leaving him open to getting absolutely decked in a game where one of your star offensive keys is already out with an injury) is still a bit of a tall ask at least.

It's a ballsy call because it's very unexpected...it's very unexpected because it's also stupid. Both is possible.

Lots of electric car ads. I'm down with that, but they're all ugly. 🤷‍♂️
