It's extremely likely that there won't be an upgrade path.Should I buy gtav on xbox now that is on sale? or they are not going to update this game?
No reason why R* couldn't add in some of the GTAO cars/weapons into SP. Adding some of the stations wouldn't work out however owing to the time-skip between SP and GTAO.I really wish they added something more to GTAV single player. The weapons, some of the cars, not even all of them just some of them. Of course I always thought there'd be a casino add-on, but nah. Always thought they'd expand the story a bit ALA GTAIV and it's DLC, but nah, obviously that's dead.
That would be nice. I have no intention to buy the game again, but I would gladly try out online again. It seems like you have 3 months to redeem going off the wording.
Yeah, seeing this and asking about Smart Delivery.....I dont know what some are expecting.
Betting console release first then PC a year later for the double dipping.
IIRC GTA5 has way more forgiving checkpoints.Quick question.
I have a PS5 and have never played GTA5.
I enjoyed what I played of both GTA3 and GTA 4 but quit after I kept dying and having to drive all the way across the city to try again.
Is this worth a buy?
It's a great game, more forgiving checkpoints like someone else said so maybe the issue you had with 3 and 4 will be lessened.Quick question.

Seriously?!?!?? RDR 2 already looks insane! No need for a remaster!I wonder how many years away is a RDR 2 remaster. I'd be far more excited for that.
With Rockstar, every announcement is casual, but is a mega-ton in the industry....Such a casual way to announce GTA VI. I love all of Rockstar games, but GTA is one of my favourite IP's from any developer, I really can't wait for a new GTA.

It's also a lesser game than GTAIV

We need that 60fps!Seriously?!?!?? RDR 2 already looks insane! No need for a remaster!
Just needs the frame rate unlocked and I'll be happy. they're gonna charge me 70 bucks for that though.Seriously?!?!?? RDR 2 already looks insane! No need for a remaster!
Play it on PC, it is gorgeous on PC...seriously, most of the time, when I am playing the game, I forget about the missions and just prance around...it is a great world to get lost in...
Could look a lot betterSeriously?!?!?? RDR 2 already looks insane! No need for a remaster!
Yeah it's quite exhausting...Raytracing doesn't really mean much without specifics. Is it just raytraced reflections? Or is it raytraced gi? Ao?
Need more details

I'm probably the only one on the forum that hasn't played over 5 hours of this game. I'll give it another go with this update, but I don't think it will change my view of it.
I fully expect this to be the plan. Would explain why Online is finally getting its own standalone version.I don't really know how feasible this would be, but is it possible they could just add a new city to GTA Online? Like GTAVI takes place in Vice City and VC becomes a new zone in Online?
I'm still upset GTA V is getting a next-gen version and not RDR2. I get it's because Online is a cash cow, but I've already played V's campaign twice. And honeslty it doesn't stand out as being a particularly interesting open-world game. I want RDR2 in 60fps and better graphics.
Why are they not mentioning PC? This is something i expect as a free update day and date with consoles at this point.
Yeah it's quite exhausting...
From the trailer 4 months ago, I would say there is only RT Shadows.
RT Reflections aren't in the trailer, that's for sure.
I didn't see anything making me believe there was GI. They improved lighting but indirect lighting is still there with the obvious "flat texture" effect.
AO, doesn't seem to but difficult to be sure about that in the trailer.
It needs a next gen patch at minimum though. I guess that's what I would want.Seriously?!?!?? RDR 2 already looks insane! No need for a remaster!
