Valkyria Chronicles 4 is on my wishlist and that's a pretty good price for the Complete Edition!

Yeah, they show up with some regularity, just gotta wait for them to cycle back. They're nowhere as elusive as something like the Ninja Gaiden games.

They don't go on sale very often, but when they do, it's typically in May and June.

Is it the one that came out on switch and ps4? If so then yes. You earn in game currency when you battle and buy boosters as well as winning cards too for battles against the computer. The battles follow the outline of the anime stories from each generation and you can create and edit your decks with the cards you earn and collect. I never managed to find an online game to play against others.

Edit for clarity, the battles don't force you to play the way they did in the shows, more that they have a small sideshow cutscene before each battle that has the players talk and follows the stories. You can use customs decks for the battles if you want to.

It's great. It has slightly better shadows on Xbox One X than on PS4 Pro, IIRC.
