Sony - Edge: Play has no limits
i feel like there is someone up there in sony marketing who loves making these trailers and spends hundreds of millions of dollars on these ads every generation. its hilarious i dont think anyone looks at these expensive ads and says yes, i want to buy me a playstation.I mean it looks cool but I always wonder if these artsy ads actually get anyone to buy into things. Their budget seems magnitudes greater than just, y'know, showing the thing you're trying to sell.
Sea of Thieves invented boats, people. You heard here first.
Thats total nonsenseThis marketing campaign is teetering towards the early PS3 marketing in terms of tone.
This is a terrible ad. Doesn't show the system. Doesn't show the games.
Might also just be Sony letting some junior employees going nuts, letting their creativity out, doing a project on their own.i feel like there is someone up there in sony marketing who loves making these trailers and spends hundreds of millions of dollars on these ads every generation. its hilarious i dont think anyone looks at these expensive ads and says yes, i want to buy me a playstation.
Random meaningless bullshit, like the rest of the ad

LMAOThat reminded me of the Sea of Thieves tutorial when you pass through the shroud in your sloop.
It sounded fantastic through headphones. Have no idea what its meant to represent though :P
If you have to read what the ad is for, it's a bad advertisement.People begin complaining before reading two lines of writing that explains what the ad is. It's not there to showcase specific games, it's a brand ad. It's evocative and it's a window into the whole ecosystem of PlayStation cinematic experiences lying ahead.
Forget grandma's that's what I got out of this ad lolThis ad is going to be so confusing for the grandmas, they'll probably end up buying a copy of Sea of Thieves.
LOL, that is awful
I think that's more on you, but go off.If you have to read what the ad is for, it's a bad advertisement.
They won't start game ads until after release date is announced
I kind of got the gist of it.
GET OUT OF MY HOUSE
That reminded me of the Sea of Thieves tutorial when you pass through the shroud in your sloop.
Perfectly self explanatory ad. Some people seem to confuse their own expectations with the perceived reality of what's presented to them. The wording is to alleviate those caught up in that confusion. If you have to read what the ad is for, it's a bad advertisement.
