Been watching this one for a while. Didn't realize Team17 was publishing.

WTF is with that voice over?

The style is awesome but they haven't shown enough how the gameplay is going to be yet. That makes be cautious.

Also, length. Looks incredible, hope it's longer than 15 hours.
I'd be extremely surprised if this is longer than 15 hours, probably rather half of that. Having said that, the game has me intrigued every since they launched their Kickstarter campaign a couple of years ago, glad it's coming out soon.

Backed this project, looks just as good today as it did back then... it's going to be a treat.

Beta Maximum Prime! So many great 80s/nerd references in this game. I just played through the demo and I liked it a lot. Great visual style and overall presentation, lovely audio as well. Maybe I'll even grab it for my Switch for portable play, if that version turns out to be solid. The game will look great on that screen. If it's not a good port/version I'll just get the PC version, which I might get anyway.

First time hearing about this game, and that trailer totally sold me on it <3

Played the demo. Not sure what to make of it yet. A lot more text and exploration than I was expecting. The weird glow effect is unwelcome and is dimishing the sprite work which is a shame. The combat might be a bit too limited but we'll see. I'll wait for reviews.

I echo this for the most part: there is more exploration than expected (reminds me a little bit of hyper light drifter), the music and visuals are great (the CA effect can be turned off in the options), and the handling of the character / combat is a bit weird (moreso, you cannot use the dpad, you have to use the analog stick).

I'm definitely giving it a try on gamepass when it releases.

Yeah the game feel isn't great. Moving, jumping, slashing aren't super satisfying.

Edit: What do you mean by the CA effect? I only have a CRT option but it doesn't change the blurry look.

Chromatic Aberration, but yeah, it is more like a CRT distortion effect.

If you turn it off the game looks cleaner, but still blurry.

Ok, I've got the same look on my screen.
Really not a fan. Too bad because it looks great otherwise. Reminds me of Out Of This World sometimes.
