What were they thinking when they cast Rachel Keller (female lead from Legion) as a high schooler in The Society. She looks and acts like she's the teacher.

For the coming in July rundown - Kill the Irishman is a very good, highly underrated mob movie. I definitely recommend it.

I laugh at the idea but the show could be really good considering the differences in governments, social issues, and the looming threat of north korea.

I found it fascinating every time someone uttered a swear word. Jarring isn't the right word, but I laughed out loud (and so did my Mom who I watch this with) every single time. A good reminder that this show isn't on a network any more. God bless Netflix! Season is great. So happy!

Just finished binge watching Another Life. Imo, it's not the greatest, maybe 5/10, but I seem to like it more than most people.

Have to say though, it felt like the writers made a checklist of all their favourite bits from different movies and threw them in. The spaceship interior reminded me of the Nostromo from Alien.

I don't see this being renewed, which is a shame, only because
they ended it on a cliffhanger

Yeah based on the reactions in reviews and the OT, you and me seem to be in the minority. haha

I'm only up through episode 3 but its been watchable. One of those just turn you brain off type of things as its not that type of Sci-fi show. Makes me chuckle when people complain about the science.

Also you never know man. Who knows what the budgets are on these show, but to me it comes across as being pretty low budget with the limited number of sets? So far they got a couple of rooms on the ship, the house, that field, and the coffee shop. Netflix seems pretty fickle sometimes in terms of what shows it seems to renew. Sometimes some shows that get called "bad" doesn't vibe with the actual viewership numbers.

I really hope glow gets a season 4. I am afraid it may not. Breaking that 3 season limit seems hard for shows to do that are not the biggest mainstream hits. S3 comes out soon. I guess we'll find out a little after.
