Sounds fun. Hopefully they got people who are actually good at improv and not just famous faces.
I'm hoping the opposite lol.
Let's see some shit

Conan is hilarious, but is he supposed to be acting? Like, do they give him a character to play? Surely he's not supposed to be himself.Super dependent on the guest actually being funny. The Conan episode will be amazing because he'll be in his element.
I'm still salty about The MickGood old days of Better Off Ted, Arrested Development, or The Mick.
Yes there is, Murder in Successville.
Tom Davis was the writer for that and is credited as a producer in this adaptation.
Edit: beaten
I do love me some good improv. The original is hilarious at times, and seeing really good comedians think on their feet is great.
If this new show is anything like the original, this is going to be awesome. I went on a binge a few years ago on this show.Successville was very good, especially when the guest can't can't manage to keep a straight face. I like Tom Davis. King Gary is a lot of fun too.
I'm only interested if there is actual puzzle solving going on and not just entirely improve comedy
I want an episode where the guest star is the murderer but they don't know it.
So is there somewhere I can watch that british version here in the US?
Well the good old days of Arrested Development and The Mick, then.
Wasn't there a BBC show with the same premise? I'm guessing this is a remake.
Comes out Feb 3rd by the way. Why that information netflix can't squeeze in a tweet I dunno.
But this seems more episodic in nature anyway, so that shouldn't be a big deal. The idea sounds fun to me.
Are you trying to tell me that there were no good old days when networks protected quirky comedies?
the good old days was when half of all sitcoms on TV were "All in the Family" spinoffsAre you trying to tell me that there were no good old days when networks protected quirky comedies?
The other half were "Happy Days" spinoffs.the good old days was when half of all sitcoms on TV were "All in the Family" spinoffs
Oh god, they got Conan. Him and Arnett already have amazing chemistry.

They're not really given a character other than themselves as detective trainees.Conan is hilarious, but is he supposed to be acting? Like, do they give him a character to play? Surely he's not supposed to be himself.
Yes, the guest star is asked to solve the crime at the end based on talking to the suspects and then told if they're right and what the clues were. It's not all improv, there is a story and characters but the guest star isn't given a script.I'm only interested if there is actual puzzle solving going on and not just entirely improve comedy
Edit: I'm an idiot that can't read. Ignore me lol.Annie Murphy makes this a must watch.
Annie Murphy (Schitt's Creek).
I think it depends on how you're counting the images lol. Top right with the bottles is Annie Murphy. The other woman is Sharon Stone. There's no way that is Annie Murphy. That lady in the picture looks way way older?
Yea but I think he was correcting the Betty Gilpin bit so it wasn't even a counting issue. I just lack reading comprehension lol.I think it depends on how you're counting the images lol. Top right with the bottles is Annie Murphy. The other woman is Sharon Stone.
