it's a bit of a flop but as bullshit calls go, it's not that terrible. Jump shooters should have landing space.

Only reason he didn't have landing space is because he kicked his legs out by multiple feet. It's 100% a bullshit call, and one that the league claimed they specifically were going to focus on this year.
I haven't watched as many games outside the Pistons this year compared to others, but it seems like they largely gave up on the changed foul calls and it's the same old again.
Even aside from that, getting a solid offensive roleplayer in Curry makes the Simmons risk a bit more digestible from the offensive perspective for the Nets. But yeah, change in scenery from both sides makes a good trade
