they're basically the 2019-20 Warriors w/ Dame in place of Steph
I think the threshold is 111 now so I think tacos are safe.
I don't trust their offensive numbers and their defense is terrible. Also the only good team they've beaten is the Sixers.
AD can miss a game and we can still blow out a (admittedly inferior, but still) team. Feels good man.
Sucks for KCP, hope he gets better or it's not too serious. That did not look good at all.

essentially a star player leaves the team or gets injured, and the team actually improves or is better than when the star was on the team.
The perfect example is Bryce Harper being on a perennial mediocre Washington Nationals and being a high profile star but never winning, but then the next year Harper leaves and the Nationals win the World Series

The Raptors won the championship though, they were already the best team. This is just proving it wasn't just Kawhi carrying the team, he's one of the best in the league no doubt but the Raps are showing they already had a lot of good players. I think people forget they won 59 games the year before he got there and it certainly wasn't all because of Demar.
Still not applicable. Raptors we're a good team with Kawhi, not bad. Ewing theory only works when the team has never done anything significant with the star.
