How have the Celtics players and coaches not put an end to all of the empty Marcus Smart 1v5 possessions?
Curry got fouled on a 3 by Horford, made the shot and Horford didn't allow him to land properly, upgraded to flagrant (1 FT + possession), Otto Porter hit a 3 in subsequent possession.
I mean 7 of the points came on one possession. Not like they got smoked otherwise or it was one huge run.
Made three pointer with a flagrant, made the FT, got possession back and made a second three.
Draymond hit him in the back?
Its baffling really. How many times does it take to get burned before you realize you don't drop against Curry lol
I still don't get that Horford flagrant foul. How much space does a shooter get to land in? Curry launched himself forwards into Horford's foot.

Smart getting in the lane has been very good, and needed, offense for the Celtics. I don't think he's taken one bad shot - maybe that fallaway there but he makes that regularly.
How can people say Steph is not that guy. Dude's put his team on his back so many times this playoffs.

Don't get what's funny. He jumped forward just as far, if not further than Horford did, and the defender is basically always to the floor sooner than the shooter. Drives or turnarounds in the lane never get this treatment.
I don't mind protecting jumpshooters. I don't think defenders should be reasonably expected to predict where an offensive player is going to land.
That is an actual flagrant by definition, replay looked much worse than real time.
I think it's pretty hard for the player to have a sense of how much contact they initiated low when the block looks pretty good. You see it all the time.
