Miami cut off passing lanes and played the skip passes much better than Golden State has. They were also able to mitigate the drives of the Jays due to quick hands of their perimeter defenders in Jimmy, PJ, and Dipo. The Heat look much better defensively against Boston's right now.

We overperformed in a lot of aspects defensively in that series, also both our teams were in the hospital lmao
We also shot like shit literally the entire time and Jimmy got us to a game 7, interesting series to analyze after the fact

Boston is getting to their X option in their offense sets unlike the Miami series where they were forced into their Y and Z as well.

Spo is simply a superior coach period. He doesn't get enough credit for his schmes, and he certainly doesn't get enough credit for adjustments during the game. He is the best coach in the game. Pop is overrated right now. Spo is far and away number one.

Spo outside of Miami is underappreciated by how great he game plans and prepares his team for sure. The Godfather will get him the pieces Spo needs in the summer.
