Quick question, if I buy the Spider-Man GOTY edition, will I be able to download the DLC individually? I have Spider-Man on disc and I've beaten the game, just have some postgame stuff to do and the DLC. Looks like buying the GOTY edition on sale is cheaper than each individual DLC episode.

I'll wait on TLOU II since I'm sure ND will release a standalone remaster that will probably include multiplayer on PS5. Definitely a good discount though.

Definitely depends. If you're a trophy person, Royal is a much easier platinum. Besides the additional story, Royal does have some gameplay changes compared to the base game too.

The store and sale experience fucking SUCKS on every platform and channel I've tried it on: PS5 itself, the new PS mobile app, and the web version of the store. As I and others have noted, you can't even see a Deals section when exploring the store on the PS5 itself (what a bizarre oversight). The lack of sort/filter options on all platforms is baffling. I just don't understand.

I highly doubt that Naughty Dog will release a remaster. The game just came out last year. A remaster a year later? And the game doesn't need a remaster it looks great. A simple next gen upgrade is more likely and all that's needed really.

Snagged Ghost of Tsushima and WRC 9. Thinking I might want to grab MediEvil, as I saw it was supposed to be $10, but it's not currently on sale on PSN, so not sure if that's the physical version only? Oh, and damn, maybe Jedi as well (although is that not supposed to be a part of EA Play/Gamepass on PC when that launches next(?) month? May just wait for it there).

If that was the case, why they don't just say it outright? Like Sucker Punch did with GoT? A free next-gen patch could still happen, but their silence doesn't inspire confidence.

Finally picked up Ghost, been waiting to play it on PS5 and it'll probably be my next game after I finish AC:V and Cyberpunk. Also picked up Skyrim VR and the Kingdom Hearts all in one bundle to replace disk copies that I used to have since I bought a PS5 DE. With that I finally have digital copies of all the PS4 games I cared about!

Physical disk aftermath kollection has KP1. Aftermath expansion digital doesn't. If you don't mind disk, get the aftermath for $25 at best buy or target and then $15 kp2 dlc. If not, just get the ultimate digital.

Perhaps they are waiting till the update is closer to being complete. Also possibly announcing the next gen update alongside The Factions update. Which I'm thinking will be free to play. But yeah I'm assuming a nice bundled announcement with a launch date close to the announcement so people don't have to wait to long. Maybe we'll see something at the Game Awards?

ps5 games only work in ps5 and are labeled as such and in the store. ps4 games are just that. ps4 games with some patches playing in BC mode on ps5. if a recent patch has happened it could be to allow for higher framerates for instance.
