I don't get it, emulators like DuckStation can force 60hz on PAL games, why can't Sony do the same?
Because they don't care. Simple as that. Backward compatibility is not their top priority and it shows.
which is aggravating considering it's tied to their highest costing tier or PS+
Which is really sad considering they made it a part of the most expensive tier. It's really not Premium at all right?
Don't think Sony has even commented at all about Jimbos abortion email, so don't know if they'll care about this.
Hopefully by the time this service launches in Aus all these probs are resolved.

Is it true this new service has even less PS3 games than PSNow had? If so, I have no idea what the hell they were thinking. PSNow wasn't amazing, but it was pretty good. This just sounds like a massive downgrade in most regards.
They're not selling abortions, they're selling this. It's a completely different case from the company's standpoint. This questions the value of the their service, so they might actually care. Women's rights don't effect shareholder value, so they don't.

All first-party PS1 games included in the new PS Plus in Taiwan (an NTSC region) appear to be based on the PAL 50hz/25fps versions
So this is a discussion ongoing in the PS1 features thread but I thought it deserved it's own thread. Sadly we're finding out that some of the PS1 games on the Asian PSN stores that went up today are PAL versions, unfortunately it looks like little has been done to mitigate them from running at...
