What a disgusting human. Greeting strangers he doesn't even know? Oof.
You've obviously never been in Puerto Rico...

People here need just a conversation starter... and boom they'll tell you their whole life story.

There's a saying that goes here "Toma 1 bofetada para que hable, y 3 para que se calle"

Which translated means "It takes one slap to make them talk, and 3 to shut them up"

I only saw The Last Jedi because my brother didn't have anyone else to go with. Seemed like a perfectly acceptable movie to me if you are into people shooting / swinging lasers in space. Made me somewhat curious about why it is so controversial, but not enough to bother finding out.

I do enjoy the chaos Star Wars brings people who care about it. Like watching ants attacking each other.

The amount of times I've said "I'm not much of a Star Wars fan" since Disney+ launched is staggering

I'm so glad that I bounced off of Star Wars after TFA didn't impress me lol

here
please can all of you stay in texas

no one came to the grocery store to talk to strangers
I saw Ryuelli at a grocery store in Texas yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?"
I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

You know, as someone who has never watched Star Wars, this has made my day. When I tell people that I've never watched Star Wars, they get all worked up and attack me over it by saying all sorts of demeaning and superiority complex things to me... it sucks and it's hurtful, truly. This man's whole approach to it perfectly describes me too.

I'd advise you to watch Star Wars but never actually talk about Star Wars online. And if anyone asks you if you've seen Star Wars you should still say no.

I've only seen Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One.

That's enough.

Didn't grow up with Star Wars. First time I saw the original trilogy was on my phone while doing an overnight security job in college. Thought they were entertaining enough.

Didn't bother with the prequels, though I did watch the Plinkett reviews. Thought TFA and Rogue One were okay, and though the Last Jedi had good ideas but was overall pretty messy. Watching the last one sometime this week.

So I guess I'm not not a fan, but I do find it humorous at how much of a shitstorm each of these new movies cause. You would think each one of these were Movie 47 levels of godawful with how much bickering they cause.

The last time I had a SW related conversation with an acquaintance, the current story lines were explained to me. To which I responded with "I don't know how you guys like this stuff." Their response, "it wasn't always this bad!"

I wish ResetEra had a muted words/phrases feature. I'd love to never again be bothered by Star Wars threads created for the most insignificant reasons. I don't care what X actor or director said about Y in the new Star Wars.

All of his videos end with the same porn music and it annoys me. Funny vid though.

That's all I got to add.

Watch them all once and move on, with TFA that was difficult after the first 30 minutes. I can't remember people being this weird about the movies when the original trilogy came out but I was just a kid anyway.

Never cared much about Star Wars, so it was really entertaining to follow this whole shitshow. In fact, I think I got more entertainment value out of that than if I had watched the movies and were invested in the series.

I saw the prequels when they first came out when I was a kid. Never saw the original movies. And I've watched TFA, TLJ, and Rogue one.

Didn't really like any of them. I just find it funny reading people moan about star wars.

Similarly with comic book movies. Unless it's Raimi's Spiderman, I'm not interested.
