Woah S5 is premiering now?!?! I had no clue...hype! I thought it was coming in the fall for some reason. For once, I'll try not to follow the season regularly so I can binge watch at the end.
After the past 3 seasons I think we all should just accept the recap episodes as a sad inevitability. That was a lot of time used for again telling viewers what quirks characters have. 4 seasons should be enough to know.
It should be a great season, better than last season.Man good to know that was a filler episode because it was traaaaash.
Lookin forward to getting actual season's plot going next week.
What kinda season are we in for manga readers? Good action, more serious?

He's been there since the start of the show. Though he's always been a side character. Was talk-to-birds guy always there? Don't remember him at all.
Narrator Deku is a liar sometimes.I thought about something.
The narrator is always Deku right, with an older and more mature voice.
He always says that it's the story of how he became the greatest Hero. I guess it's how it's going to end, no? He's basically narrating his past experience.
he isnt a liar but he exaggerates things sometimes
I think the animators must really like Hawks because every time they focused on him I thought "he looks nice"Upset they turned "Can'tcha See"-kun into "Look"-kun. Was so much more notable and meme worthy lol.
Hawks is the best.
Funi website is region locked for me but thankfully here is the list thanks to twitter (thanks to LEGABIRU).
Seems more like there are people getting accounts on MAL since 7 out of 10 of this list are 2020-2021 anime.
True but that only makes season 4 and 3 still be in the top 10 even more impressive, hell season 3 was in 2018Seems more like there are people getting accounts on MAL since 7 out of 10 of this list are 2020-2021 anime.
what shonen adaptation does more than this episode did? I can only think of Jujutsu and maybe KimetsuIt may be because I've been spoilt by other shonen adaption, but I wish the series were a bit more adventurous with its direction/storyboarding especially for dialouge heavy episodes like this. Still an alright episode.

The contents of the episode were good, but it felt like two different episodes crammed into one.
Oh AoT for sure but I dont think of it when I think of battle shonen, tho i dont remember its demographics tbhHonestly AoT is the only one that comes to mind. Mappa did a great job with the slower paced episodes this past season. Demon Slayer's dialogue heavy episodes weren't too inspired but they were fun I guess.
I WISH JJK had dialogue heavy episodes tho smh.
Jujutsu, Fire Force, and One Piece are some that come to mind. My issue with this episode is that it is a literal 1:1 shot of the manga, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but they coud have done something more interesting. One Piece seriously? Lol, they adapt about one chapter per episode, it is as by the book as you can getJujutsu, Fire Force, and One Piece are some that come to mind. Yeah it's the end of one arc and the beginning of another so it is kind of odd. It's one of the downsides to Bones really wanting the endeavor fight to be the end of season 4 without being able to fit in the whole Pro hero arc. I think it turned out a lot better than I feared before season 4 ended but it does have these odd quirksThe contents of the episode were good, but it felt like two different episodes crammed into one.
