I feel the urge to share this with the wider world, we had our green card interview yesterday, and judging by the online tracking it would appear it has been approved. 🎉

It's an employer sponsored green card and all in all it took a little under two and a half years to go through, which in the grand scheme of things is quite good.

I've been in SoCal on an L1 work visa for almost three years now. 😎
Now my status is no longer time limited.

Congrats! If it's one of those 1.5 or 2 year ones make absolutely sure you start working on extending it 4-5 months before it expires and not any time after.
