Previous roommate had the angriest little dog ever. I love big dogs that I can just wrestle with.
I adopted her that way but I was told she was abandoned down in Texas and she had a piece of metal stuck in her eye. It was taken out but the infection meant she had to lose her eye. I saw her in an adoption agency in New Jersey and just loved her. She's only 2 so it seems she has adjusted just fine, thankfully.
Dogs are a bit like people, they can be assholes too. But my mother has an older dog and she would get depressed because she had no other dogs to play with, but now she has one she's so much happier.
