Sunshine would be cool, but I'm okay with 3D World and Galaxy. More so if the former is getting new levels.

Hohoho, holy shit boi

If we got SMG and Metroid Prime Trilogy (let me believe) the Switch might become the best first-party game roster in a Nintendo system ever

Sort of makes sense that they've been holding back WWHD and TPHD ports for Zelda's 35th, then, assuming this is true. I've always been kind of baffled they never pushed those out.

Third, your description of Mario 64 doesn't make sense. What does "least Mario-like character and world design" even mean? The game is clearly a Mario game and it holds up wonderfully today still.
Nevermind, that was a dumb thing for me to say. Don't get me wrong, I love the game too. The DS version already shows how it would look with updated character design. Anything else just adds to the charm of the game.

Yes, please give me Galaxy in fantastic new HD graphics. I expect more than a resolution uplift though, as Galaxy was available for Tegra X1 like that for quite some time. For the time they needed to bring this to the Switch I simply expect more.

Fuck yeah, drown me in games I played to death back in 2013.

Actually, wait, no, give me a new 3D Mario game instead.

Kthxbye.

(Galaxy would be okay just to get it out of the 480p ghetto.)

Nice to see 3D World coming. I already have it so I don't think I'll be picking this...

"Array of new levels"

Fuck.

YES. Will buy both. 3D World being interesting because I never had Wii U. Hopefully Galaxy 2 finds its way to Switch eventually too but these two are more than enough.

Mario Galaxy without the dreadful Wiimote would be a bliss.

Mario 3D world is secretly the best 3D Mario, but they'll have to add a lot of things to make me pick it up (not another Toadette scenario, please!)

And a new Paper Mario... OMG. Sticker Star was kinda meh (good, but meh) but Color Splash was great, so the next one is on the right track!

Dying for a new 3D Mario.

Galaxy and 3D World definitely deserve life on the Switch but eh, I was half expecting the next 3D Mario to release sometime this year. That probably isn't the case with the recent news as it really wouldn't make much sense sending an important release out like that in the midst of re-releases. Glad for Paper Mario fans though, your time has come.

A new Mario Golf game would totally be in order! The Switch is a perfect platform for it!

No, this is nonsense hyperbole. But you do you.
It's still awful. The gameplay is horrible due to the battle system being trash and completely pointless, like in SS. Boss fights are awful and devolve into just using the right "thing" card. The story and characters are incredible bland and sterile, with the only redeeming quality being the insertion of forced quirky writing to compensate for the rest of the game. And the artstyle has a huge over reliance on paper as a gimmick, instead of being a more subdued element like in the original games. Most importantly, I can't think of a single element in the game that just isn't a massive downgrade from 64, TTYD, or SPM.

It's a step up for SS but that's not saying anything at all. The game is awful and I can't imagine why anyone would defend it. I really hope IS takes as little away from the game as possible with the next Paper Mario.
