Voice chat is based on 3 factors.

Commander can talk to all Squad Leaders on a single channel and vice versa.

Squad Leaders can talk to their entire squad on a single channel and vice versa.

All players are able to talk to each other via proximity chat.

Its an amazing experience for friends.
