Pre-ordered at GameStop and picked it up at 9. Don't think I got a code for Shao Kahn though. Will he just pop up in my game automatically?
Should be in the case. If not go back to the store and get your code.

Just had this same issue where I had to go back to ask as it was supposed to be on the receipt. In my case, I learned they changed their policies where you're ineligible for pre-order codes if you pre-order after 3pm the Monday before. Fortunately, they were still kind enough to give me one.Pre-ordered at GameStop and picked it up at 9. Don't think I got a code for Shao Kahn though. Will he just pop up in my game automatically?

egg hasn't been on since early this morning, and the last thing he posted was an incorrect assumption about OTs only going up the day before release. :/
Sad I have to wait so long for the PC version to unlock. Damn it NRS why? :(
Ugh it's very annoying especially when paying so much for the game. Got the premium edition
For anyone else that has the game, how did you get Shao Kahn?
Was there a code in the box? I didn't get anything in the box with the game. No email or anything
lmao43 more minutes to go LOL
watching the Beyonce special on Netflix while I wait for midnight
Mine does not. What the f I got rippedperfect time to jump online now, lots of fresh meat there ;-)
there was a flyer in the box. does your box have a sticker on the front "shao kahn included" ?
Ah geez, it's not looking good. This massively delayed PC release with still no footage is making me slightly worried
sorry to hear that ShinobiBk
I have made the switch to buying games digitally just to avoid all the fuckery with retail
Not sure...on PS4, he's a separate download that was made available upon preorderingSo, for the Switch version. If I preloaded the game do I get Shao Kahn automatically, or do I have to use a code or link?
Were the joycon buttons rough playing it handheld? Main reason to get it for the Switch for me would be playing it handheld, and I'm worried the lack of a d-pad will make it difficult to play, and I should just get the PS4 version.Have the Switch version in hand. Plays like a dream, handheld is ugly as sin but the game doesn't look too awful docked on a 65" 4K TV aside from the shimmering and during fatalities where it gets downright unpleasant. Audio doesn't sound too compressed either. Loading times could be shorter though.
All in all, seems rock solid so far.
I don't have the Switch version but I don't think the joy-con "dpad" should be an issue for MK inputsWere the joycon buttons rough playing it handheld? Anyone else have it for the Switch can chime in on this?
Yeah, if the game required QCFs and stuff, I'd stay away, but I'm still worried the inputs will be rough, I'm imagining what it'll be like but I'm not sure what it'll be like actually playing itI don't have the Switch version but I don't think the joy-con "dpad" should be an issue for MK inputs
I haven't played it yet but I have heard from a number of sources who have who actually said the split dpad was perfect for the game. Take that however you wil. Were the joycon buttons rough playing it handheld? Yeah, easily the worst part of playing the Switch version. Basic combos feel hard to pull off for me. I'll get used to it over time but for now, it's hard. Were the joycon buttons rough playing it handheld?
