I'd assume its the patchIs this 2.5gb patch I'm downloading the fix they were talking about or just a standard patch?
That is the standard "Day 1" patch. I had downloaded the very same patch file size last evening. Is this 2.5gb patch I'm downloading the fix they were talking about or just a standard patch?
Amazon sends an email labeled Promotional Credit. Is there a way to unlock shao khan without the preorder? I thought I had preordered it correctly from amazon but it didn't come with any code or anything
Why in the actual fuck would they waste development time nerfing non tournament moves, Jesus fucking Christ this is absurd.
Shao Kahn, ruler of the large dark low resolution nipple people.
Happened to many of us. Apparently it's a known error from Best Buy; will be emailing codes in the next 24 - 48 hours.Anyone who bought from Best Buy get their Shao Khan code? I just got my copy in the mail and there was nothing in the box. Haven't gotten any emails either.
Ha! Got it, thanks!
Her clinch is actually a hit, so it can be blocked.Yeah, man. Lots of her strings lead into command grab. And then you got her normals cancel...which leads into command grab. Trash from distance, just like Laura, but a monster once she gets in, just like Laura.
How is the matchmaking? Will a newer person just get steamrolled over and over.. or matched up with other newbies?

Strange little bug on the PC version.
Was mucking around with Baraka variations and somehow my picture got stuck like this:
You can see part of the variation UI below the half picture - "2 unlocked".
Rebooting the game did nothing nor did going to another character.
There are still moments where someone screams or shouts when you walk past certain areas, but nothing like before where something jumps on the screen, from what I've explored so far anyway. Also, yeah there are areas with giant spiders.Question about the Krypt, does it still have those dumb jump scares and giant spiders that were in 9 and X's Krypts?
Yeah, it's the worst. I've barely touched the towers because of it.
We can only hope.So no one has said what the Kombat League that starts in 27 days is? Hopefully it's a real ranked system, with promotions, demotions etc.

They're fixing that? That sounds exactly like peak NRS game design to me. How are they fixing it, adding a modifier that tilts the screen back and forth or renders the screen upside down?
I think people said his arms also looked low rez. I didn't really pay attention tho.
As someone who has cleared all NRS towers before... this sounds worse from the videos I've seen. Like, "this is all but impossible" levels. They're fixing that? I just checked, there is really nothing wrong with the chest, arms (or nipples, lol). This is on PS4 Pro though. Maybe on base consoles and Switch the textures aren't as good?

If it's not off, you're doing it wrong.I've trying this without Release Check on, do people find it better with it off?
Yeah...sadly, it's true. Never saying no to an idea for a modifier is the only way I can explain how black screens, upside down stages or reversed inputs etc. made it into a final version of the game. Sometimes the ridiculous holiday themed towers, with multiple modifiers at once, were a dumb distraction because ultimately, both players were being hit by shit they could never react to and it was short and ludicrous (and easy) enough that it wasn't a huge problem. But yeah, when multiple modifiers just make you want to assign an AI to do the tower for you, so that you don't have to actually play the fight, there's a problem...They're fixing that? I had no idea it was a thing until I read about it on here. Seems like it should be off by default.
What the fuck was NRS thinking. Like sure, WB may have been breathing down their neck to incentivize monetization but you still need to make the game fun or nobody will want to keep playing it. There's no way that any of the developers at NRS played these towers and thought they were even remotely fun. It's not even fun in a "challenge to overcome" kind of way. It's just irritating and stupid.
I had some real trouble last night trying to adapt to them and I couldn't string together basic combos but I persisted and by the end of the story mode, I'm roughly where I am with other gamepads in terms of skill level. To anyone playing on their Switch Portable mode, how is the joycon for playing? I've yet to play a single fighting game on the thing so I'm sure the "dpad" is useless, that leaves the analogue stick.
