Yeah, I'm sure Nintendo really had to twist Capcom's arm to put their game on the number one selling console in the world....Nintendo paid for console exclusivity of MH Rise, plain & simple.
A treasure trove of Capcom internal documents got leaked.
Oh, I thought that's what it said. My bad.The leak says the complete opposite, the game was never intended to be on PS4/XBO.
Nintendo's proposal was to help with development costs (10m dollars) and some other marketing budget (up to 6m dollars) in exchange for a delay of the PC version, a proposal Capcom clearly accepted.
No they didn't. There was never any real intention of putting this on PS or Xbox.
This is how misinformation is spread.A treasure trove of Capcom internal documents got leaked.
Including the amount Nintendo paid to make it console exclusive, or at least to delay the time of the PC version.
Nintendo paid for console exclusivity of MH Rise, plain & simple.
Again, I thought that's what it said in the leak. Turns out I was mistaken, so my bad."Why does the sequel to Monster Hunter World look so ugly???" is the reason it's not coming to PS or Xbox. No money hats required.
I know right LOLMan why are yall talking about exclusivity when you can ride a fricken dragon?
I think it's tomorrow. This will be my first monster hunter and I am hyped.
That's probably what I got mixed up. Thanks for clarifying.People need to understand, according to the leaks, Nintendo paid sum amount of money to Capcom to delay the PC ANNOUNCEMENT, not the release date. Furthermore, this is developed by the portable team, this was always intended for the Switch and was never planned for other home consoles.
MH6/Next gen MH is planned for 2023 or beyond.
they play the same anyway, just one doesn't have segmented areas. Rise has a lot of things from Generations in addition to WorldI'm still not clear: will this game play more like World or more like older MH games? I enjoyed World and it's modern conveniences but have a tough time with the older titles.

I'm planning on checking out MHW on PS5 in the coming weeks but how come Rise is not coming to consoles?
Whats the story behind this?
Remember when people were so annoying and entitled because they wanted a switch port of MHW ?

Internet multiplayer: Until the end of the "Monster Hunter Rise DEMO" distribution.
Nintendo paid for console exclusivity of MH Rise, plain & simple.
Again, I already realized my mistake. My bad and I'm sorry.Yeah, after world sold 15 million copies, Nintendo bought exclusivity for $6m or whatever it was, sure.
No, Capcom merely want to also continue to tap into the portable market.
Yeah, I got the payment mixed up with them delaying the PC version announcement.
Great to hear. There's just something that felt more cumbersome and obtuse about the set titles that made them a little tougher to get into for me personally, but I totally understand why certain folks may lean in that direction of play.
Apparently the demo will be available in 3 hours.

The only reason this game is coming to PC is because of how well World did in Asia on the platform, where consoles aren't as popular. It makes sense.
