Here's a schedule of the open access times:

Based on the Open Access client which is essentially the whole game, the JP version will use your system settings for the language. I have the JP client and it displays the English version.
Despite what I was told, doesn't seem like I can record footage.

I've played about 5 hours of Gundam Versus and have maybe an acceptable understanding of how that game works, but this just seems like it's on another level.
Seriously, why do I see videos under the game but I can't record? Or is it streaming only? I can't just record footage to help advertise this game? Why tf not?

It's mechanically less complicated than Versus without the boost dive and strikers, but it's faster and the arenas are nowhere near as big.
Streaming only. And when it streams from the PS4, you'll only get one track (the Crossbone one). Blame music licensing. All of us recording are using capture cards of the sort.

I've never streamed, can I archive it/save it to my PS4 after? Does it stay on YouTube? Is that a game by game basis and if so, does this allow it?
More than simply playing, I like editing little vids together. Sometimes that's part of my gameplay.
If the game allows Remote Play one thing that's also possible I did before, Remote Play to a PC and then simply record that with OBS or similar.
It allows remote play. It's how I've streamed without a capture card to avoid the repetitiveness of the single soundtrack when streaming directly from PS4.

Don't know about youtube streaming (it should), but you can just grab your Twitch archives afterwards from the site. Or just remote play like everyone else is mentioning here. ^^

The PS4 is the extent of my recording know how. And only have a YT account. I'll give it a try.
Is the double weekend Fri and Sat or Sat and Sun? And does it kick in if I pre-order after it ends (meaning it re opens it right away or waits until next weekend)?

Aside from a few straight ass suits, a lot are relatively fun to play as regardless of tier considering how well BN have translated their signature moves from the anime/manga into the game.
Haha, just jump into the Gundamnation room whenever it comes online. A fair amount of beginners in there. :) Hopefully one of us posts here when it does.
If you've preordered, yes. It runs until 8:00PM PDT today.
As for the double weekend... the times are: Friday 8:00PM PDT to Sunday 8:00PM PDT. So 48 hours for pre-orders versus 24 for non-preorders. And yeah, it should recognize you've pre-ordered it and allow you to play for this current session if you do it now. Finally, there's no access to it outside of those times.
Wow, Reborns Gundam is the only S-tier! I'm a 00 diehard so I'm not complaining but whoa.
I think I'm gonna buy an arcade stick again. I sold my last stick before I moved overseas years back. I plan to move back to Japan, so I'd like to be more familiar with controls on a stick so I can segue back into it in the arcades more easily. Any recommendations for something good that works on PS4 and PC and will work on PS5 (if any company has made that kind of promise...)?
As Deathscythe, I had 3 wins in a row with a Heavyarms player and then they leave and I got whooped by a 10 win team =(.

Zaku Amazing counter kills are the best.
Reborns is a complicated unit, but well worth the top tier action. TBF, most of the 00 units are really good to great across the board.
Dunno about being forward compatible as of yet, but the Razer Panthera is probably your best bet atm. There's always the Hori RAP line as well. I use an HRAP Kai whenever I decide to play stick with this game.

Versus got me back into Gundam/Gunpla and played that a ton. My biggest issue was no co-op/vs to play with my kids.
But alas!
There's no real word on PS5 compatibility but worst case I assume brook will have an adapter out in the future. They've been real good this gen.
Really any PS4 stick should be good to go. With Steam controller input stuff, it's very painless to use anything on PC too. Hori and Qanba are both good brands. If you got any questions you can always hit me up.
Maybe I'll go sorta budget side since I doubt I'll take this stick with me when I move. Anything good sub 100 usd?
There's something satisfying about using Red Astray RD and boosting in for those sweet melee combos. I'm a Deathscythe Hell type of guy, and Red Astray feels just as fast.

Hmmm, maybe the Mayflash ones then? They're relatively cheap and can be customized if need be. Plus they're like compatible with practically everything. Would be a good shout to hit up the ERA Arcade Stick thread as well.
Ok so seeing "arcade port" and "arcade controls" got me looking at my fightstick that I put away after getting a Hitbox like it might need some love.

Yeah, it plays fine either or. Whatever you're best comfortable with. Some things are easier on controller such as charge shots, but it's not like it can't be done on arcade sticks considering its origin.
Has there been any news if this is coming to PC? I know we recently got gundam crossrays on PC and Breaker also came out there so I was wondering if I should hold off in hopes of a PC release
