No issues with Manifold Garden on my iPhone X. Enjoying it so far.

Wish Pac-Man had single player content or at least the option for matchmaking.

No problems here either (iPhone X as well).
Actually it plays really well and seems very well optimized as well.

I too wish Pac Man had matchmaking too. It's really fun with friends tough.

Completed Grindstone and all achievements. Great gameplay. Most of the time, not very challenging. I died maybe half a dozen times, all oversights on my part. Overall, the art style Is well done and quite polished.

Ran into numerous bugs, one causing me to be able to take control of a bat, and move, before locking up. Other bugs were visual glitches or single instance crashes. Overall, not a major issue. The recent patch added a lot of nice visual touches, but also introduced a an annoying enemy attack animation that causes an undesired delay in a chain's attack sequence.

Very poor implementation of the challenges. If you do not do them ASAP, then you end up far past the levels needed for them. While playing through the many levels, I tried to do the ones that were relevant. Near the end, I went back and started doing the remaining challenges. Eventually, the challenges became very grindy (i.e. kill 50 of an enemy that seems to only appear once per level). I only finished them for sake of completion. Despite burning through resources, for gear repairs, I ended the game with countless resources of most types (except the magma stones). I recommend the devs consider reworking the challenges (i.e. have challeges be milestones or something instead of having to be active to have kills count for them?).

Due to the addictive nature of the game, I enjoyed playing it. However, I feel the challenges artificially lengthened it without (in my situation) useful reward. I would consider this worth buying as a premium game.

Sigh.

Just when things got really interesting in Mainfold, after solving the first major puzzle....a serious motion sickness kicked in.
Didn't happen since many many years (maybe Half Life 2 that I completed back in the days really struggling) .... had to lay down for quite a bit.

I'll try tomorrow without headphones (generally they make the symptoms really worse) because I was really liking the game.

Completed Assemble with Care and Pilgrims. Both excellent games with lovely stories to. I also really like the short nature of them. I think it only took one hour to do a run in Pilgrims, but there are still some things to figure out. Assemble with care is perfectly suited to play in small portions as well. Fantastic games!

For fans of super relaxing puzzle games, Gemustert is fantastic, my mom loves it. Soothing music, beautiful pictures, a great take on the classic puzzle game.

Just fully completed Grindstone. A glorious masterpiece that dethroned Puzzle Quest in my heart.
Last 40 levels were fantastic (as the rest of the game).
Hoping they will add somehow an endless mode or a daily board...anything really, I need more.

Not Apple Arcade but you should really try StarBeard. Another fantastic premium rogue like match-3 that I think would be right up your alley.

Thanks!
It was already on my radar (even if I'm not that cool on the presentation), looking forward to play it someday.
At the moment I really have too much stuff on my plate.

One title I'm considering outside AA is Sword of Ditto...we will see.
After completing Assemble with Care, Shinsekai, Inmost, Stela and Grindstone I'm currently playing Card of Darkness, Where Cards Fall, Neo Cab, Mutazione and The Bradwell conspiracy.

This thing will kill me.

This year GOTY will be tough....besides Dead Cells, Gris and Shards of Infinity there are various contenders in Apple Arcade alone (Grindstone, Shinsekai and Inmost among the ones I played) for my tastes.

Don't let the presentation fool you, this is a deeper and more unique game than it appears. Also gets pretty challenging and quite addictive just as Grindstone is to me.

GameClub, the subscription service for older iOS games, is out now. Here's how it works:

1) If you've bought the game when it was released in the AppStore, you get a free update letting you play the game
2) You can also subscribe to GameClub for $4.99 to get access to all the games and the upcoming ones. This will let you play offline and without ads
3) You can also play the introduction of each game for free with ads before choosing to subscribe.

Here's the list of all titles:

Plus you can also keep tabs on new games via the official GameClub app:

All in all this is very generous (especially the free update) but I'm not sure the market's there for such niche premium titles, especially after the launch of Arcade.

Hello people I'm looking for a slots game for android. Free to play with non intrusive adds and lots of "bells and whistles" with great sound design. The problem is that the store is flooded with those games, even multiple clones from the same developer. I found two that I like (Big Fish Casino and Huuuge Casino) but I was wondering if there is something even better.

Slotomania? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.playtika.slotomania&hl=en

That hits you with upsells when you return to the game from memory, but otherwise I remember finding it high quality, varied, and it leaving me pretty much alone after dismissing the initial popups.

what kind of game is this? Doesn't show up in my app store.

Not avaible in my country too.
I'm not super cool about last batch, after briefly trying all besides Fallen Knight.
The most interesting is Lifelike but unless I'm missing something (played till level 5) it's no game....more a particle simulator.
Not that I'm complaining, I have tons of games to play anyway.

If it's anything like FROST it's indeed a sort of particule Simulator that turns into a puzzle game after a few levels.

Here's a link for Fallen Knight:

(The game might be temporarily unavailable as they work out a last minute issue)

Thanks.
Still not avaible but that might be why.
I'll continue Lifelike (which is very cool to look at) hoping for some puzzles then!!!

Maybe it is just the (Fallen Knight) trailer, but all of the non-boss enemies seem to just be standing there waiting to be attacked. They seem to shoot and all, but they appear to be very immobile.

Just beat Exit the Gungeon with the pilot.
What a great action game...highly recommended.
It's a bit cryptic at first, it has many more mechanics that you may think at first, but it's really great and controls perfectly.

Downloaded the Black Desert Mobile Soft launch (Canada, Android), not out on iOS yet... Seems solid, but having network/server connectivity problems for now.

The character creator is as expected - glorious

Afterparty, which is by Night School Studios (Oxenfree) comes out tomorrow. Night School Studios was listed in the Apple Arcade developers so we might (*might*) see it release this week.

Hope so. I'm getting as part of GamePass on Xbox One so will play it either way. But these kind of games are good for touchscreen on the go.

Are any Apple Arcade games exclusive to the platform or can you buy them one at a time? I'd love to own Afterparty on my phone.

If they are on Apple Arcade, they can't be purchased separately on iOS. They may be available on other non-phone platforms like console and PC but not Android either.

Anybody here plays "Night of the Full Moon"? I love the game but it's really terrible at explaining its different systems.... I have a few questions and maybe someone in here will be able to help...

1- I purchased the "Collector's Edition" bundle which came with a bunch of stuff including a "Pumpkin Lamp" which is supposed to be "Prologue: Star Fall + 100%, Epilogue: Dust Fall + 100%"... What the fuck does that even means?
2- There's a "Red Hood Diary" DLC available which appears to be another game mode but there's zero informations about what it actually is?
3- If I click on the pocket watch on the main screen I get access to some kind of talent tree where I can unlock some stuff using the Stars I get after beating bosses... My star count is now permanently at "Max" (maybe that's related to that Pumpkin Lamp thing?) and I have unlocked everything on that screen... Is there more to unlock cause I have unlocked everything ridiculously quickly so that's a bummer if there's nothing else to upgrade? I have only finished two runs, on normal using the first two classes so I have barely scratched the surface of the overall content in the game.
4- Oh... Also, what the fuck is up with those jigsaw puzzles accessible on the main menu? And you can even buy more on the store? What's up with those?

I had once asked about the PumpkinLight IAP, on Reddit, and received the following answer (unfortunately, I don't have the IAP to give my own answer):

It does two things :

1- It speeds up the rate you gain the permanent xp/stars, which is pretty unnecessary because you'll max that out in about an hour or two without the boost anyway

On hard mode there's a resource that lets you gain an extra perk. It's randomized, but you can pick of one of three options if you have enough dust. You'll always have enough to see one option, but this dlc ensures you always have enough to see all 3.

Not really necessary but a nice to have.

Has anyone heard whether Grindstone will make it to Android? I just Googled and didn't see anything about it. I'd love to play...
