I have been saying since a few pages back. The second round was a lean Reyes, but his offense was just not that effective. Never the score I would give, but a score I can live with

I think it was 2-2 with the last round Jon doing his thing. I can see it both ways for 3-2 Jones or Reyes. Reyes gassed plain and simple. If he didn't then he would have won the fight.

This was Reyes best chance, he blew it walking backward the whole fight and gassing out as a result.
Announcers have been calling out judges for years. These athletic commissions don't give a fuck.

Nah. He was gassed & needed the fence to get up multiple times. If he had tried to take the center, he'd have gotten dumped on his back and pummeled for the rest of the round.
That's where experience comes into play. At this point Jones knows when to pace himself throughout a fight.
Jones might fuck himself often by making bad decisions, but he was fighting the exact fight he wanted.
Tbh, Ive always hated the fact that title fights are 5 rounds. It's dumb. It's like the Super Bowl suddenly being 6 quarters. Is it a guy like Dom Reyes' fault that he doesn't get enough main events or title fights to get 5 round experience under his belt?
That booger sugar has lasting effects on his body (along with probably a ton of other drugs). His camp knew what they were doing. They figured that Reyes would use most of his energy for the first 2-3 rounds and that Jon didn't need to waste too much energy going crazy.
