That's fair I guess. But the question is, do I care if I "officially" beat the game? No. No, I do not.
The famed author of The Loco Bandito
He's one of the guys behind Angry Video Game Nerd and probably more well-known that 99.9% of Twitch / YouTube / Facebook / Mixer StreamersI genuinely love when people post something regarding a streamer; thinking that everyone knows who that streamer is. Like, "look at what this person said!!! This is a notable person saying this thing!" and half of us literally have no idea who this person is lol
Let me guess... playing on Easy is also not "beating the game".
Regardless of the man who said it, I agree. Hard to argue that you actually beat the game when you're rewinding after every failure.
A guy who likes writing racist comments and showing his penis to strangers without warning.
The rewinding feature saves you time from having to start a level from the start. Thats all it does.
I'm not playing Ghost and Goblins without some kind of rewind or save state feature.it's like watching movies with increased speed on netflix, lol. might as well not consume the thing that I'm not commited to, to begin with, eh.
Silencing is not the answer.
I would be onboard for that.
You cheated not only the game, but yourself.
You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.
You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.
It's sad that you don't know the difference.
They're friends and collaborators, and Mike never made any effort to hide this stuff originally. Even if he didn't know about this, I don't know how he'd miss the other stuff Mike's done.
Yeah, no, NES and SNES games are full of bullshit that's only there to increase the difficulty. Imagine if to finish a movie you had to do crazy hard QTEs, and you are like "bruh I just wanna watch the fucking thing" but some gatekeeping elitist asshole tells you you are cheating by doing so.
Such BS.
I hate that I'm siding with that guy, but I get where he's coming from. If you just bruteforce a lot of these games, you're missing out on the fun.
