thats why i wont buy an xbox just because of Phil Spencers nice sounding words and tweets.. Really need to see some great exclusives before. Hopefully in 2022.
It's more like you don't count MS's great game as great game because it didn't get GOTY nominee.
So you won't buy an Xbox because its "exclusives" not getting nominated for Game of the Year? Okay then.
If that's the only criteria you have for something to be considered a "great game"...

Animal Crossing and Hades aren't that though... neither is Doom.
Biggest hit of the year just behind Warzone/Among us, and the obligatory indie game
And Alyx and Dreams which also don't fit his description aren't nominees and both were super praised early this year 🤷
The problem here is the number of nominees, it's not fault of those who enter.
