I'm just not down with public opinion man. The dude had two trials that he walked away from Scott free. A bunch of those who alleged were either caught lying and admitted, or retracted their statements. I think to say for sure he was a pedophile shows a surface level understanding of the situation. For every accusation and allegation there is generally a reasonable and more logical series of events. You don't have to agree with me, but I've tracked this situation for a long time
So your accusing the boys he accused of lying? You do know what your doing right, how difficult it is for victims of sexual abuse to come forward as it is, when people like you treat them like that?

Yeah I kinda see that. I've never listened to his music (in the sense of choosing to listen to it as opposed to hearing it in passing) but I've always had the perception in my mind that he was a child abuser, don't know why. The only thing that comes to mind is when they took jabs at him in family guy.
Are you trying to bait a ban? This is a matter for the courts to decide, not you nor the person you're replying to and that's the biggest shame here. That this will never go to court and as a result there will never be closure regarding these accusations.

We are discussing it, which we are allowed to do. A court decision or lack thereof has nothing to do with anything.
I am not interested (nor willing to) argue Jackson's side of the story, but doing so without putting forward the contradictions of the testimonies is essentially impossible. And doing so is calling them liars and that's against the rules the mods set up.

I think unfortunately it does. If you're a victim, you're not going to get any closure. It's like the BBC presenter who died before allegations against him could be settled in court. The victims felt robbed of any closure.
We won't get that conclusion either. When MJ last went to trial he was found not guilty and the debate around him faded away but now there are fresh allegations which has reopened this debate about whether or not he did these crimes. However, the difference is MJ isn't going to be able to go to court this time and face the allegations.
People are discussing it sure, but it will be endlessly debated without end this time as we see EVERY time there is a new MJ topic.
Children being abused should be more important than how much you like his music.

I still listen to his music from time to time and the passage of time hasn't changed my opinion of him. I consider him a musical icon then and now. Like so many great artists he died far too soon.
