Go to midtown Detroit and try Urban Ramen if you have a chance. Been there recently, their ramen is Michelin restaurant good. IMO.Anyone familiar with Waterford or the surrounding area southish? Just moved to the south end near west Bloomfield so I'm interested in some of the secret good food places and activities.
My first apartment and I'm living with my first girlfriend. Exciting times.

Be sure to drive down Big Beaver Road and Hall Road. There are a ton of good restaurants and stores off it in Troy.
Downtown Royal Oak if you're looking for a good night out. Bars, dancing, drag bingo, all the night out stuff is there.
It's worth it. Its soooooo freaking worth it. I'd drive there everyday if I could.I want to go to Urban Ramen so bad but I don't want to drive to Detroit just for Ramen. Sigh.
Curse me and my fear of Freeway Driving.
I have another stupid Michigan driving question.
On the Michigan left in the U-turn section. The road is typically very wide. Often times cars will be two abreast to turn left when the opportunity arises. Oftentimes cars will queue in just one lane even though there would be room for two parallel cars.
What's the deal? Is it supposed to be one or two lanes?
So not technically legal but tolerated and widely done?Twin U-Turn lanes have lane markings usually. The wider 'mouth' is so that larger vehicles with bigger turning radius won't have problems.
But in busy roads where the single U-turn entry lane can get backed up, smaller cars do split the 'mouth' for turning. (I use the outside lane if I have to cut across a few lanes to turn right immediately, so someone on the inside can make use of a smaller gap).
So far: board games, multiplayer games, going to local events to say hi, and eating FliXFantatier vegan snacks.

Never even heard of the place. I was afraid of animatronics when I was a kid so my parents never took me to places outside Chuckie Cheese's.So ya'll oldtimers ready for Major Magic's to come back in 2020?

Is this going to be like Marvin's?Never even heard of the place. I was afraid of animatronics when I was a kid so my parents never took me to places outside Chuckie Cheese's.
The story of this place sounds like a set up for some five nights at Freddy's. I wonder if they are hiring for their night security?
it was more Chuck E Cheese. I had only been out that way once - strangely, for a DDR tournament.
Well I have no studying to do but I'm in regardless. 😜
Is there an area that works best?
Well Royal Oak is super central.... 😬
It's a caffe. It's nice enough.

I did not realise you meant today. 😖
New Monday, wanna try again later? 😜Ohhhh! Well, no biggie, I didn't study much anyways lol. I could do next Monday
Is it a study party or maybe like a book club?
I'm going to have a cup of tea. I will not be bringing a book and have no more studying to do. 😛
Beginning at 11 p.m. on Friday, northbound I-75 will be closed from 8 Mile to Square Lake roads, and southbound I-75 will be closed from I-696 to 8 Mile Road.
That sounds like fun, I'll just stay home. Didn't want to go anywhere anyway. 😝Just so people know I-75 is going to be closed this weekend for the construction starting back up: https://www.clickondetroit.com/traf...d-county-resumes-friday-with-weekend-closure/
I'm at 696 and 75 so this will probably be a nightmare for a while for me.

Thanks. I still have to watch that
Shocking that this does not get you onto the list of the most beautiful cities in the world...
