Good numbers for DE, happy for it.

Dunno if it can outsell XC2 - being a re-release and all, legs should be worse - but nice numbers nonetheless.

Was the RFA stock situation sorted out? Haven't been following in a while.

This is both hilarious and sad considering there's an incredibly obvious growth opportunity in front of their noses.

XCDE did less than XC2 but is not that bad and digitally should be fine. Rest of the world should be much better.

Good Switch hardware overall.

How much do The Legend of Heroes games usually sell? The series is pretty famous but these sales seem really low, especially since these threads taught me that jrpgs don't have legs

Really nice numbers for the 3rd retail release of Xenoblade (4th overall although lol WiiU), surpassing the launch of both the original Wii and the N3DS versions. Was hoping for 100k & #1, but it's close enough. Also extremely close to the launch of Xenoblade 2, and as others have pointed already, maybe even above when factoring in digital. Being the third release of the game, though, I don't believe its legs will be as long as many people think, but hopefully I'm wrong on this. Any early signs of its 2nd week performance?

The increased HW helped AC offset the natural decline and hold on to the 100k for one additional (last?) week, as we hypothesised. Switch in beast mode, selling as much as supplies allow for. As does RingFit.

PSV Uta no Prince-Sama: Amazing Aria & Sweet Serenade Love 14.352 14.352 Broccoli 19/10/2017
Repeat Love did around 8,400 so a modest increase is understandable. I wonder when we'll start seeing the fujo/otome Switch late ports beating the fujo/otome Vita late ports.

Do we have any expectations/predictions about how Clubhouse Games will perform next week? I'm quite curious about how that'll perform. I feel like it may have some nice legs even if the opening is small.

Yeah, that's a very high number for a re-release (not sure if it's a port or a remaster).

It's a re-re-release. They're originally PSP titles that were packaged together on Vita then re-released on Switch.

Looks about in line with what you'd think? Modest drop but people re-buying them on the new otome platform.

I know this thread is always toxic against Falcom and can only repeat the same port begging over and over again.

But please, at least look up that you are talking about ports from old games, and even these sell better than those Kiseki games that were actually ported to Switch.

As 7Suna above pointed out, the main titles sell about 100k opening week on PS4.

The only Kiseki on Switch is CS3 which sold only slightly less than these. If Ys VIII is any indication though the majority of overseas sales may end up being on Switch and potentially global sales as a result too. We'll see...

Pretty happy with XCDE numbers considering probable digital numbers. Even if it didn't cross the 100K line and #1 position it's a great result.

Can't wait to see worldwide results in three months or so, it should do 1M+ easily.

Thank you, so that just means the new versions don't sell a lot. The trails series means 9 games, right? Did they all sell more or less the same or are they becoming more popular?

We are not talking oversea here, that's NISAs territory.

CS3 is MUCH newer than Zero and Ao, and yet it only sold like 6k on Switch IIRC. It's totally abysmal, yet users here pretend like Falcom can't do math.

While these late ports don't show the real potential of the franchise (new games do), comparisons between PS4 and NSW ports shouldn't ignote the price difference: PS4 ones are budget-priced, while NSW ones are premium-priced.

So you are arguing that Switch versions would not sell enough additional copies to be worth doing? I don't think anyone here expects they would sell better than the PS4 versions. The argument many people are making is that Falcom is leaving money on the table.

Finally some switch HW. Now to see what level it drops to again. RFA about to cross 1 million and still remains totally sold out, who knows how high the demand is. AC also still selling 100K+ is amazing and I can't help but feel if Nintendo could supply enough HW it would stay somewhere up there.

Japan for CS3 was N1's territory too, that's irrelevant. The point was growth potential in general.

CS3 Switch wasn't that much newer than CS1/2 Kai either and didn't exactly benefit from Falcom directly supporting the platform and committing all future support to it exclusively. Building audiences isn't easy but it's even harder when you actively work against it from every angle. If Falcom had backed Switch like they did PSP/PS3/PSV/PS4/will PS5 then the crusty CS3 port (and Ys VIII port btw) probably would've sold the whole 3-6k more to be in line with these ports. And more importantly Trails in general wouldn't have shed nearly half it's total sales like it did going PS4 only.

If pull priced Switch late ports that Falcom has no involvement don't worth it, these PS4 budget releases don't worth it either.

The dream for Xenoblade DE becoming the #1 best selling in the series lives, Digital should allow it to exceed 2, I really hope it has legs.

Ring Fit is just bullying everyone with his legs at this point, half a year after release selling close to 40k

So far for switch, April is 250k shipments and May is 270k shipments when excluding 150k week shipped from last quarter. I expect about 300k(75k/wk) shipped in the next 4 weeks in June. This is a total of 820k shipments for Q1, plus covering the first week of July, it could be 900k shipped for Q1. This is with stock problems but lets see if it can reach 1M shipments.
